“Compact and Cosy”
Reviewed August 25, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The Garden room is very compact and clean, lovely little touches that make this a special place, they seem to have thought of everything.
It is quite small, but has the use of a patio area right outside the door and large garden, perfect for using as a base.
The bed is very comfortable, with a wonderfully soft duvet.
The en-suite is just big enough although the wash basin was a little small, the shower has a big shower-head and a separate hand shower.
The location is superb - you can see the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lynn peninsula from the big window, it is a short walk to the cliffs and lighthouse of South Stack.
The Breakfast is left in the fridge and a small basket for you consisting of cereals, pain au chocolat, orange juice, tea, coffee and milk.
It is also worth using the breakfast voucher to go to the RSPB cafe and have the excellent full breakfast for an extra £5 per couple, served from 10-11am.
We also stayed in the Potting shed, this was similar in size although the room may have been a fraction smaller and the en-suite was larger.
The bed was not quite so cosy as the garden room!
We found the entrance a little cramped and having no patio right outside the door would have been a disadvantage to us if it had not been pouring with rain and a howling wind! There was a garden very close by that could have been used.
I would return to either but have a personal preference for the garden room.
The area is perfect for birdwatching, wild flowers and walks whilst with a car it is very easy to visit other locations in Anglesey (Don't miss Llandwyn Island)

“Fantastic property, great location.”
Reviewed August 4, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The cottage is absolutely lovely. It's clean, comfortable, well equipped and looked after. The bedrooms have such comfortable beds. The thoughtful little extras like fresh flowers and a homemade cake on arrival are a lovely touch too. There is a gorgeous, large, well maintained garden with outdoor seating and loungers to enjoy the views from.
The cliff top walk towards RSPB South Stack and the lighthouse is breathtaking.
We all loved it and will definitely return, highly recommended.

“Gales, Rain, Bitterly Cold and Brilliant”
Reviewed January 4, 2015 for a stay in October 2014

Garden Cottage: Located just off the road to South Stack Cafe below Holyhead mountain, it is exposed to the brutal winds and weather coming in off the sea. However the property we stayed in was watertight and deliciously warm/cosy. Given the winds/weather (See Photos Air/Sea rescue team out the back door) the property was quiet, light, very well kitted out and comfy with cake waiting for us on arrival ! So we settled in quickly and easily.

We were , relatively speaking, a last minute booking but all arrangements and administration before, during and after our visit (Deposit return) were excellent.

The weather was truly appalling but it didn't matter. We ventured out occasionally for excellent Pie from Valley Butchers and walks, but staying in was just perfect for our late October mini break.

We know how fickle the weather can be on Anglesey so we knew eventually it would change. Alas it changed on the last morning of three, the wind dropped and the sun rose spectacularly as it can hereabouts.

We can't wait to go again.

“Our holiday with grandchildren in Anglesey”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This was a great place to stay with young children nice and safe for children to play, the facility's are great with every thing you need with young children and good for adults to relax.

Our only fault was the duvet was to heavy for summer use but that is a personal thing we cannot fault this accommodation, and Sue was always available and very helpful.

We would stay again.
