Stayed in Lady Of The Lake Suite twice in the last 2years, price is not cheap but you can see value for money when you stay with having use of indoor/outdoor pools, mini golf etc.. still to date I have very happy memories of sitting at the window with a cup of tea lookin out across the sea... ahh, would say that decor does need updating, feels 20 years behind the modern day apartments ive stayed in and the whole facility could do with a splash of fresh paint but overall it wouldnt stop me returning, location is perfect for all the best Tbay has to offer, gr8 for the kids and IF you get the weather (imo) its equal to going abroad, would stay again and would recommend

After reading some of the reviews I came armed with a stack of cleaning products. I need not have worried though, our appartment (24,.the Guinevere suite) was spotless. The only bad thing about this holiday was the weather and even that could not detract from the beautiful location. The indoor pools are great, it is a real luxury to have a whole pool just for your sole use, and even though we booked at different times we never had a problem getting one. Yvonne and Jessie on reception were more than helpful, and I am quite hard to please. I tried to upgrade before we arrived and even asked if this would be possible if there were any cancellations, but I need not have worried, the appartment was spacious and had everything you needed. There was even a little aladins cave of a cupboard with everything you could need for a seaside holiday if you have children but unfortunately we did not have our grandchildren on this holiday. The bad weather would have prevented beach outings anyway, but if you are lucky enough to get good weather here, it is a perfect location for a great family holiday at a reasonable price. Want to book for next year asap.

Room Tip: The only minor thing I found was could have done with a small vegtable knife, and potatoe masher

We had to cut our week holiday short due to our children being poorly. The area is stunning and the apartment was fantastic and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this company and stay here again.

We stayed in the Gogarth apartment which was beautifully kitted out and decorated. The location is ideal, right on the coast with loads of coastal walks (pet friendly too). The two indoor pools were lovely and warm, clean and newish. The water in the outdoor pool was freezing but it didn't stop our children from going in it ! You can see that there is work ongoing not that that bothered us. This was nt a cheap holiday but i feel we got what we paid for and would go back again for another summer holiday.

On arrival we had a pretty poor welcome from reception, and sadly that service did not improve much during the week. We had seen the complex before our holiday starting 15th and knew that it was tired looking, but on arrival at our cottage we were a little disappointed. Cottage 3 is well overdue for refurbishment/redecoration/deep clean and I agree with a previous writer that there was dampness in the old walls. The main issue we had though was the lack of a shower. With seven guests one bath and one toilet was not adequate, particularly as the electric meter costs using £1 coins.. Initially we thought it would be okay, we could use the showers by the pools, but unusually for this day and age, there were no poolside showers either. The pools and tennis courts were useful for the kids, and when the sun came out the outdoor pool was wonderful, a little suntrap. The location is great for T Bay and the beaches and attractions. So overall 7/10, but Cottage 3 is really not much more than Youth Hostel standard or comfort. We would return IF the above mentioned work was done.

We went to Plas Darien on 22 July 2011 - two adults and three children. We were in Number 38 Plas Darien. We had a problem finding reception as there are no signs - but after ringing a member of staff came and found us. The ground floor apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious - but it could do with updating - it was nice to have our own garden and there are fantastic views across Trearddur Bay. The outdoor pool is excellent and so are the indoor pools - you book the indoor pools by the hour just for your family's use. Also on the site are tennis courts and boules which we used. There is golf but the grass isn't short enough to play. The whole site looked as though it was undergoing refurbishment. The best restaurants locally are at the Trearddur Bay Hotel, The Seacroft and the White Eagle. There is a bar/club house next door at the Trearddur Bay Bungalows which is open to the public - there are quiz and bingo nights. We had a fantastic time - location is brilliant and we will go back.

We caught the end of the summer sun in Anglesey; we were looking for a last minute, close to home destination by the sea and Plas Darien turned out to be an amazing find. It's location is fantastic, the views are stunning, the beaches are close by and the facilities on-site are great. We took our six month old and were able to take him daily into the indoor pool, we never had an issue booking a slot for private use. The outdoor pool is lovely too, and very well maintained. We rented a one bed apartment which, I have to say, was very dated however it was immaculate inside and had all the facilities we would require including use of a verandah. The place is well run and is under renovation in various parts (I hasten to add that we did not experience any noise from this however) and once the renovations are complete this will be a truly fantastic place. Our one-bed cost us £45 per night, which was supreme value for the facilities available. Anglesey is a lovely place to visit with lots of beauty spots and things to do, so all in all a perfect short break. Highly recommended, we will definately visit Plas Darien again.
