We ventured into Sullivans and were greeted by friendly staff, the food was well presented, fish cakes to die for, made, I am told by Matt the head chef.We found that Steve the owner, has a great close team, who all work together. I would love to name you all, but do not want to leave anyone out. Thank you guys.

Stayed in Rhosneigr for 3 nights, and we chose Sullivan's for the last night as there were not many restaurants open on Sunday. We were so luck to choose this restaurant as the last one. It was a surprise for us! The food was superb! This was really out of our respect as we were a bit disappointed for the first 2 nights. Especially at the Oyster-catcher, we felt like eating kind of fast food in a top restaurant ( nice building and a bit pricey). If you want a proper chef cooking, Sullivan's is the place, plus the service is very good as well.

Visited here today for lunch, can not find a fault with the place. We had the Steak Sandwich, and the Mussels in a Classic Moules Mariniere served as a main course. The Steak was very tasty and cooked just right, the mussels were fresh and extremely tasty indeed, however you would expect that as they have a delivery of fresh fish each day! We were very pleased with the whole set up, and thank previous reviews on trip advisor as they helped us make our choice. There is an outside seating area which is dog friendly, and a bowl of cool fresh water for our dog made her lunchtime too. I would no hesitate in re visiting Sullivan's in the very near future.

If I did they might go out of business! There are places you eat, there are places that serve a gastronomic experience and there are places like Sullivan's that remind you that food can and should be a sensual delight. From the smells that waft across your table as the food is served to the mouth watering tastes that remind how good your favorite dishes can be. Steak and Ale pie with succulent beef and delicious gravy that has you reaching for your dessert spoon. Penne Pasta with a rich meaty bolognese sauce. Moules Mariniere with mussels so tender you wonder why you've never had them quite like that before. This is the food you've always dreamed of having. No prizes for originality, well the prawns in Sambucca sauce were new to me AND delicious, just amazingly delicious food. Go - enjoy and I'll envy you! The service was excellent, very friendly staff who encouraged us to return so we did. Three times! Now if only there were a place this good near home.......

Popped in here for lunch before travelling back home to N E Wales and very glad we did. A few people were sat outside making the most of the sunshine but we chose to sit indoors. We were greeted warmly by a young lad who explained the menus and specials board. We were able to choose from the evening menu too. Lots of choice, all sounded delicious but we both chose the seabass with garlic mash. We were hungry so ordered a bowl of chips too but needn’t have bothered as it was a good sized portion and included a big bowl of fresh vegetables but was so tasty we polished off the lot! In the time we were there another 20 people turned up to eat which was great to see. The guy who served us was chatty without being pushy (asking if we were having a good day so far, where we were from and answering questions about where various produce was from) but what I liked most about him was that he was the same with everybody whether it was a group of young women, a family of four or a group of OAPs having a catch-up. This is the kind of person who makes a good meal out a great meal out. When it came to paying I was asked by a different guy whether we’d enjoyed the meal so the service was consistent. Great to see. The only downside was the lack of draft beers and wine choices and the lack of wifi (they were having problems with the provider) but I’m not marking them down for that as our main reason for going there was to eat! The restaurant is decorated in a lovely pale blue with some interesting light fixtures, some lovely furniture, a beautiful display of pictures by local artists / photographers for sale in the entrance area and clean toilets with baby changing facilities. Compliments to the chef and staff, keep up the excellent work, we will call in again when we’re next on the Isle!
