“We didn't want to come home!”
Reviewed August 29, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Having stayed at and in a number of different places in Anglesey over the years I can honestly say that this is by far the best.
The lovely cottage is situated ideally for everything that you would want to do on a holiday in this area of the UK. It is about 150 metres from a pebble beach which is ideal for kayaks etc or even just skimming stones, which seemed to be our 8 year olds favourite holiday pastime.
A longer coastal path walk takes you to Lligwy beach which is fantastic.
We are a family of 3 and therefore had loads of room (whilst we were in anyway), Bryn Meirion will easily accommodate a family/families of 5+. You will have everything that you need too in terms of appliances, games etc. It is clean, well proportioned and just so welcoming.
The views from the rear garden are something that I would never tire of and with a lovely summer house to sit I don't think it could get much better!
The neighbours to the house are lovely too, we spent an hour or so with them in the local pub one evening.
The communication with the owners was brilliant and left us at ease before our arrival. They made sure that we had all of the details that we needed ahead of our holiday.
All in all this a fantastic holiday letting and I would very much recommend it (providing you're dates don't prevent me going again of course!!).

“A warm and welcoming cottage which provided everything.”
Reviewed August 19, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Arriving on Lifeboat Day when the roads were closed to traffic we were able to access the cottage with no problem. We were warmly welcomed by the owners agent and made to feel very welcome. The cottage is well equipped and the rooms are bright and airy. The walk to the shingle beach which is only 50 metres away soon gets you in the holiday mood. A very worthwhile addition to the cottage is the Summer House in the garden which provides good views of the beach. There are plenty of places to visit and we even managed a sea fishing trip out of Beaumaris, which was reasonably priced and great fun. There are many board games in the cottage and they provided great entertainment. We look forward to a return.

“Great location”
Reviewed August 8, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We've just returned from a lovely week at Bryn Merion. It was our first visit to Anglesey and we LOVED it. The location of the house is perfect, walking distance to the shop, cafe, beach, lifeboat station (which our boys loved) chip shop and the pub. The house is great, 3 decent sized bedrooms, with comfy beds. A lovely comfy lounge, and the kids loved discovering some of the board games etc in the lounge, and the toys in the summer house. The only down side is that the bedroom curtains are on the thin side which meant the kids really struggled to get to sleep as the rooms were very light. Luckily we took one portable blackout blind, but this only worked for one of the rooms.
The closest beach is pebbly, but this is fine as there is a gorgeous sandy beach 5 mins in the car with a great cafe and toilets. We had a fab time exploring and did a walk round the local historic monuments as well as trips to Caernarfon and the zoo which are only about 40 mins away.
A great location and we'd love to go back.

We are really pleased that you enjoyed the Island and the cottage. We are lucky to be in such a good location and aim to keep the house supplied with what a family needs both inside and out (games, DVDs etc). Your feedback re the curtains is really helpful, we'll change them for blackouts in the off season ready for your next visit. Sarah and Chris

“Homely and well located”
Reviewed September 2, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Well located with local shops, fish shop, pub (pub food) and a very nice cosy cafe/restaurant (Ann's Pantry) all within walking distance of the house. A friendly welcome from Jim the owners agent. Geographically well located for places to visit It would have been nice to have had some hanging space for clothes in the small bedroom. Would recommend.

Thanks for your comments, all of our guests enjoy the cottages central location with all village amenities being with a 5 minute walk. The single room guest typically shares one of the double wardrobes in the main bedroom when clothes require hanging, one of the the cottages charms.
