My wife and I have been visiting The Gazelle for many years as part of regular forays on to the Isle of Anglesey as we absolutely love the setting - but this was the first time we had the opportunity to stay over for a couple of nights. Over the years we have seen standards rise and fall but we were delighted to find that Chris and his team are working really hard to restore the place to former glories. The Gazelle has always been worth a visit to simply sit and enjoy the views with a glass or two - additionally, on this occasion, we found the hotel rooms to be clean & comfortable. Ok you can see that there is still a way to go - the service, whilst very friendly & helpful is somewhat disorganised and, as has been mentioned previously, some of the groundfloor carpets have seen better days, especially the dining room. We wouldn`t hesitate to go and stay again however to see what further improvements Chris and the team can make and to sample the food and drink which is very acceptable. Well recommended in its own right - and as a base for touring the delightful towns and beaches of the island.

Room Tip: Front rooms looking out to the Menai Straits and Snowdonia

My colleague and I stayed here last week - we had a fantastic evening and joined in with the quiz on Wednesday night - brilliant fun and we were made to feel really welcome. Back to the hotel, amazing views (Snowdonia, Menai Bridge and the Great Orme), clean tidy and bright rooms, and an excellent breakfast. We also ate in the hotel in the evening and the Menai Mussels were great and the home cut chips were excellent. Going to be working up here on and off for a while so will be coming back.

Can't help but go here in warmer months to drink not only g&t's but to drink in the views. Had dinner here twice Mmmmn almost good would say a good average. They do need to replace the filthy carpet in entrance hall as this is the first impression(not good) hope they succeed and are able to spend a bit more money on the place

We are local to Anglesey and have always loved the location of the Gazelle, this has been a place that we used to frequent often. We had not been for a couple of years but went with our daughter and son in law recently. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a lovely meal in comfortable, stylish surroundings, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I have been back again and received the same warm welcome, we will definitely be returning on a regular basis. The location has spectacular views of the mountains and Menai Straits, definitely worth a visit.

If you are wanting somewhere to stay in the Beaumaris area. Go to the Gazelle Hotel. You will be welcomed by Chris and his team who are very professional, kind and helpful. I found everyone in the area was very welcoming. Good food, accommodation and the views on to the Menai Straits are a photographer's dream. Don't hesitate to book and have a smashing time in Beaumaris at the Gazelle.

Thank you for very much, Jo Booth

Room Tip: Sea views are incredible.
