Just happened to be in the area and decided to stay ant the Anglesey Arms as the look from the outside was very appealing! I found the team of staff very helpful and wow what a great hand picked menus. I will defiantly stay again when I go diving next time!

Stayed here on the recommendation of a colleague who's based in North Wales. Will certainly stay again the next time I have the opportunity to come to Anglesey. Room was gorgeous, warm and very comfortable. Food and drink were superb with a good selection of real ales and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room rates were good value. Very conveniently located just off the Menai Bridge, easy access to main attractions of the area. Thoroughly recommended.

We arrived at the Anglesey Arms during a busy Sunday lunch and where greeted with a smile that lasted until we left. My family two Pensioners, two 40 something's and a 7 year old expectations are generally high but they were all exceeded by the management of this hotel restaurant bar. We have a very fussy eater but even his requests were attended to and resulted in clean plates. Excellent food from starters and main courses to great Welsh breakfasts. Rooms have very comfortable beds and are homly clean and seemingly individual. Fresh filter coffee in rooms a great touch We where told of a short walk we could take around a local stone circle and tiny church, a great way to stretch the legs after dinner. Great job being done here by management. We will be back again hopefully soon.

Went there for a Birthday drink with friends and it has been altered to a high standard. Very busy in there though and the Bar Staff were so rude and ignorant except for one lad. I recommend they go on a customer service course. Will visit again soon.

We stayed at the Anglesey Arms from Easter Sunday to the following Wednesday and enjoyed an excellent break. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout. As the hotel had word that it was a special occasion they kindly allocated us the Menai room, which was a huge room, superbly designed and furnished, with great views of the Bridge and riverside. We had an evening meal in the restaurant section of the pub downstairs on our first night and it was very good indeed. The pub was busy on each night we stayed, providing a nice atmosphere for unwinding with a few drinks at the end of our day. Breakfast choice was a little limited but there was nothing wrong with the quality of what we had. The hotel is ideally positioned for touring Anglesey and the nearby mainland and is somewhere we will definitely return to in future.

Room Tip: All the rooms are individually designed and furnished, and all looked to be of a high standard. If y...

We booked on line with the anglesey arms for one night on sunday just gone.Because we booked on line we had 25 per cent off the bill, which was brilliant. The hotel is on menai bridge,we had a warm welcome when we arrived, one of the staff helped us with our luggage. When we arrived it was very busy, people enjoying their meals and the food looked very eye pleasing. The room was excellent very comfortable, every thing you need to make your stay perfect. The bed was a queen bed very comfortable with plenty of room, the bedding was crisp and fresh our room was on the second floor.Because the room is on the road it was very quiet. The furniture was up keeping with the building which is over 200 years old,the decor is stunning a must see you will not be disappointed. Our room was named after south stack lighthouse ,which you can visit on anglesey which is breath taking a must to see.We had our meal at night in the restaurant which was superb, amazing choices to pick, the service from the staff was excellent we could not fault them. The meals arrived which were very yummy and appealing to the eye, they were made from scratch and they used local produce, the atmosphere was excellent,it was very busy,in the morning we both had the welsh breakfast which was yummy and the wholemeal toast was tasty not that plastic stuff you see sometimes. You are in prime location to see anglesey i would reccomend this place to stay and you wont be dissapointed we would stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 104 which was excellent it was very quite in the room you could not hear the traff...
