We parked the car as others have said £1.00 for 4 hours, right next to the shops, we had a few adults and children with us and a buggy, the boardwalk around this place is excellent, had no problems getting the buggy round and the other children could run ahead without worrying about them. It suddenly opened up to a place I would describe as a fairy dingle, little stream, lots of grass, trees, we had our picnic here, luckily we had something to sit on as the only thing missing was a bench or two. After the picnic carried on to the reservoir, and the children were entertained by the low. Flying jets from nearby RAF Valley. A definite recommend

What a wonderful find at the end of a walk.We had walked from Cefni reservoir into Llangefni and came across a carpet of colour from bluebells, wood anenomes ,gorse and primroses. The walk ways were well laid out and maintained leading you past interesting sculptures.Well worth a visit.

From the car park (£1 for 4hours) it's a nice easy stroll along the boardwalk to the Reservoir which takes around 40mins at a slow pace. We sat on the wall of the reservoir, had a picnic and then walked back along the other path to the car park. All in all a nice easy walk to fill in a nice spring afternoon.

What a lovely spot for a stroll. You can do the shortest circuit in just 30 minutes but it would be a shame not to stop at one of the several benches and listen to the birdlife - even in February we saw lots of wagtails, bluetits, finches, robins and we heard woodpeckers. Its probably got its charms whatever the season - winter snow, spring flowers, autumn leaves. It's all paved or decked so fine for pushchairs.
