we stayed at the tafarnyrhos on a voucher on the 15th and 16th of april 1013.
asked for a quiet room we where given room 1 on the ground floor more about that later.
we booked in for 2 nights withe a 3 course dinner on first night.
made very welcome, with the staff, and the locals who shared some hot pork scratchings with us
bless em. of course as in a other persons review the locals prop up the bar. ITS THEIR LOCAL.
TALK TO THEM AND THEY ARE ALL FRIENDLY.
in my opinion wales is in 3 parts south wales can be a bit rough, and unwecoming.
north wale,s a mountain area and take em as you find em but the anglesey folk are islanders and make you very welcome.
and now the rest.. our dinner on the first night was superb i had the best mixed grill for some time. 10 out of 10 so good we ate there second night again super food and plenty of it.
the breakfasts where ok but as we tend to sleep in they had been kept warm, I would have preferred it cooked fresh and waited for it. but it still kept us going all day.
only down side rooms 1/2/3 and 11 have a large cooler fan mounted on the wall outside and the intermitent drone of this fan was uncomfertable to say the least. I have a problem with my hearing, and found it uncomfortable. however despite this i will return here next time we are in anglesey. next stop over was the valley hotel. for 2 nights
