“Great”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

Had a long weekend in Bangor.
Took a drive out to Cemaes Bay early on Saturday morning when we came across Eleanor Janes.
Decided to go in for breakfast. Ordered a large breakfast and a small breakfast. And pot of tea.
Was not disappointed, was freshly cooked and hot, the best breakfast I had all wkend.
Staff were friendly. Sat downstairs, thought it was quaint, and how places used to be.
Loved it.

“FANTASTIC PANCAKES”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

Today we visited Eleanor Janes for a snack lunch. We had sandwiches and for desert ordered Pancakes. These were really delicious - a very generous portion with lashings of cream and good selection of sauces. I was with two 9 year old children, both of whom were defeated by the 3 huge pancakes on their plate. Their home made cakes are also really yummy.

“Cracking”

I'm a local lad and you small minority of people moaning, get a grip, it's the best cake shop/bakery going, better than any mcdonalds etc...
Moaning about such little things, sizes of tables, staff etc.
it's a small local business, it's a good little establishment for what they have with space, the kitchen is downstairs so what do you expect them to do whilst taking orders, do you want them to walk up and down all day and whisper it to the shef??
It's a good place, nice food and the staff ARE friendly, not rude.
I go here regularly and it does my hangover wonders, to be honest I have just ordered one this minute, hence stumbling upon this site whilst seeking out the telephone number.
Very nice food, enjoy :-)

“Always a very satisfied customer!”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

As we live locally we visit the cafe at least once a week and we are always happy and satisfied when we leave. The large breakfast is LARGE so be warned - I prefer the small one but even that is more than enough sometimes! There is a wide variety of teas and coffees and there is a good choice on the menu. The food is delicious and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit!

“nice cup of tea”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We only stopped in for a quick drink so I can't comment on the food but the tea was very nice and so was the shortbread biscuit. There was a little table outside on the pavement so we could do a bit of people watching and the staff were very friendly.
