Gorgeous yellow sand, stunning views over the great orme and red wharf bay, and there is a lovely cliff path that follows the coast all the way round with even better views!! There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance...highly reccomended!

Fortunate to arrive on a glorious Sunday in Nov with a dropping tide. Great walk round to Red Wharf bay, drink at the Old ship and walk back. Stunning day out.

A lovely beach even in the windy weather of October! A bracing walk and great for families. There is a beach cafe that seems to open all year!

On a sunny day, the beach is full of families as it is very child friendly with gently sloping sand; children are very safe in the sea. The sand is what I would call gold, ideal for sandcastles. Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the holiday period. The ice-cream kiosk is one of the best and cheapest in the area. Toilets are in the car park adjacent to the Cafe near the kiosk; have not been to this Cafe. Have been to the Bay Cafe at the other end of the promenade, superb food and reasonably priced. When the tide is out we love to walk around the rocks and headland to Red Wharf Bay, have a light bite or drink at either the Ship Inn or The Old Boathouse. Do not worry if the tide is coming in as you can return via the superb Anglesey Coastal Path.

Lovely sandy clean beach with a couple of Cafes and Ice cream sellers close to hand without making it too commercial. Very clean safe shallow water the only problem is most of the beach does disappear at high tide. Sections of the beach are No dogs but there are plenty of areas where dogs are allowed. Good parking and public conveniences close to hand.
