Visited the breeze hill sat evening 17th Aug found limited menu, ordered food very slow over 35min wait for very simple originally pub fair. The food we received was way below the market quality
one vegetable dish stilton crumb had no taste what so ever and told the (waitress) it was poor quality and returned to the kitchen, we had paid in advance at the bar and asked for a refund,
I was told to go to the bar and talk with the manager Cheryl who informed me that the pub sold lots of this dish and refused to refund
We finished our meals and sat with dirty plates for 30mins thought best not to order desserts
Think there is total disrespect for customers if they ever think of dinners as customer take the money and run
By virtue of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 it was an implied term of the contract we had that the food would be as described on the menu and of “satisfactory quality” [and that the service would be provided with ''reasonable care and skill''
This clearly show if a customer returns any food they are entitled to a refund
And as a manager Cheryl should know the LAW
