“Fab stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2014

Jean and Max were fabulous hosts. The accommodation was lovely and location great. Breakfast was well cooked, great selection and we were so well hosted throughout the visit. We will definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Either first or second floor are equally lovely with great sea views.

Just spent 3 nights at the Ty-Anne and had a lovely time. Jean and Max were such lovely hosts, the cooked breakfasts were enormous and accompanied by a platter of fresh fruit, yogurts, muesli and pastries. No need for lunch, we were much too full. The accommodation was a suite on the 2nd floor comprising of a tastefully decorated sitting room with a TV, a large bedroom and a big en-suite with a bath and a shower. We overlooked the sea and the mountains, gorgeous views!
You can't go wrong staying here.

Just got back from a three day stay at Ty Anne - this place will redefine your expectations of a B&B, right from the moment you walk in to when you (sadly) leave you are made to feel totally at ease and as welcome as you could possibly hope to be anywhere.
Max and Jean are delightful, an old fashioned phrase maybe but one that sums them up prefectly.
We were there for our anniversary and could not have hoped for anything better, rooms are huge, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast is a beautifully presented and served feast! You will not need lunch belive me.
Any advice on local amenities and facilities is available with lots of fascinating anecdotes.
All in all a wonderful place to stay with wonderful hosts and fabulous scenery, all highly recommended; my only worry is that we may never be able to get a room here again with all the praise! But we would love to go back

Room Tip: There are only two suites each one is wonderful. First floor has larger bed, top floor a nicer view

We've just returned home from a fabulous 4 night stay at the Ty Anne. Max and Jean are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We had the suite on the top floor with amazing views across the Menai Straits to the mountains. The suit consisted of a lovely comfortable sitting area, with TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, with proper tea, coffee and fresh milk, none of those ghastly little sachets. There was a beautifully furnished bedroom with the same views as the sitting area, off the bedroom was a large spotlessly clean bathroom, with bath and separate shower and plenty of towels. Our towels were changed every day.
Breakfast was lovely, cereal, again no little packets, the muesli is home made by Jean. There was a lovely plate of fresh fruit, and yoghurts. The grilled breakfast was really tasty, loads of it, all freshly cooked and piping hot.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Ty Anne, Max and Jean really know how to make people welcome.

We booked this for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The suite was simply amazing, a wonderful bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, with views over the Menai Strait. Jean and Max are just the best hosts, they clearly love what they do and with Jean's sense of style and interior design and Max's sense of humour it is a wining combination. The room had lots of very thoughtful touches including DVD's, chilled water and fresh milk for the tea and coffee. Breakfast was a set menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed, a delicious range of fresh fruit, welsh yoghurt and muesli followed by pastries and a cooked breakfast. We didn't eat the pastries but Max thoughtfully packed them up for our lunch! We are already planning our next trip!

We stopped at Ty Ann for one night on our way to Ireland, it was great. We had the top floor suite, everything you could possibly want, comfort, quiet, and lovely surroundings, Fab mirror in the corner of the bedroom, very clean bathroom. We would recommend this as a place to stay.
Max booked a lovely restaurant for us and even took us there by car. Thanks

What a wonderful place to stay - absolutely faultless from start to finish. The welcome, setting, views, decor, comfort, luxury - and of course the fantastic breakfasts - are brilliant. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, place we have ever stayed in. We can't wait to go back. Jean and Max are superb hosts and you really feel like you are being spoilt. Thank you.
