Having been here in evening and enjoyed the fantastic food we were surprised to find it open on a Sunday and serving lunch until four. We couldn't get over how quiet it was considering the quality of the food on offer and the amount of people walking past looking at the menu for the bull. The seafood chowder was generously portioned and presented beautifully. The roast beef from the owners farm tasted like fillet steak and the apple and blackcurrant crumble was the perfect end to a truly delicious meal. I cannot recommend Cennin highly enough.

We found this place on a quiet end-of-season mid-weekday night, wandering around Beaumaris in the rain looking for what was originally meant to be a quick bar meal in one of the pubs. It seemed relatively pricey from the menu on the outside but we decided to give it a go. The whole experience was excellent, the food was wonderful, with incredibly well judged top-quality ingredients and all beautifully cooked. The waiter told us (and the only other couple in there) that his dad owns the farm which the meat comes from, and, having been asked about it by the other couple, gave us a really interesting insight into their business and the restaurant. We came away with a great sense of respect for the exceptionally hard work which these people put in. The butchers shop downstairs is also top quality. Lucky Beaumaris!

This small restaurant is an absolute gem. The service is friendly and prompt. The dishes are imaginative, and beautifully cooked, with top class ingredients. The prices are quite steep, but reflect the quality, and thus represent good value.

We ate here on our last night in Beaumaris. What a find. Really friendly service. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent wine at reasonable prices. But the star of the show was the food. Perfectly cooked, beautifully designed dishes. We could have eaten any dish from the menu - they all sounded delicious. We plumped for the lamb, sea bass and guinea fowl. All delicious. Could not have asked for more. And whatever you do, don't miss the cheese board! Superb.

Food was fabulous! The service and decor didn't match the standard of the food, however this restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in Beaumaris.
