We feel a bit bad writing this review after reading others but we had to put something. Beau's is a lovely little tearoom and staff were super warm and attentive. However please avoid the "soup of the day" which was packet stuff, and the toasted sandwiches seemed like toast with filling. I wasn't too keen on the scones either which seemed doughie and the cream more like squirty than clotted. Sorry :( it might be an idea to have paper hand towels, as opposed to sharing a guest towel. Sorry again :(

Welsh cream teas include a cup of tea or coffee and the most delicious scones and welsh fruit cake. Small cafe with only 5 tables but well worth waiting for a table.

Quaint cafe. Enthusiastic staff however felt that we were watched whilst eating as a staff member constantly waits near door for customers to come in. Bit off putting when eating meal. Sandwiches were nice but t chips were undercooked. China cups a nice touch.

After many visits at different times of the day, different days of the week and at different times of the year my Wife and I have yet to have an unpleasant visit. We own a holiday home just 10 miles away and whenever we are there a visit to Beaus is always a treat. Food, service, and atmosphere always just right. Just one small niggle. With only 5 tables it's not always easy to get in particularly when the weather is bad and folk are sheltering over a cuppa. Speaking of cuppas...........nice to be served in a proper china cup and saucer and have the chance to buy one or even a full tea set.
