Friendly staff, great service and tasty food - but in need of TLC. The dining area was tired looking and cleanliness was questionable (Old chips were on the carpet and table sticky) - Lovely snack though and reasonably priced

I can say I was kept up for a few hours due to noisy people in a room close to mine. The room needs a lot of work doing to it. The carpets where coming away from the skirting boards. Floors very creeky. Stairs carpet coming away from the stairs it self which was a health and safety issue. The breakfast was okay, apart from the mushrooms where totally not edible. I would not stay there again for sure.

A lovely large room with elegant windows and furnishinga and a view (through buildings opposite) of the mountains across the Menai Straits. Comfortable and well furnished bar and dining area, interesting menu.Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient free parking.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere of so many fine traditional hotels has been destroyed in recent years by "modernisation" so called updating of the fittings and decor. I hope the owners will have better taste than to be tempted to give the Liverpool Arms such a "make-over".

Went this weekend after booking it on laterooms for £69.50 for b&b for two people.
But when I asked if the room had a bath, I was informed that I'd have to pay another £20 which I think is excessive for a bath
So it turns out to be nigh on £90 for a tired room with a bath
I had a phone call in the afternoon asking if I'd asked for twin or double I told them a double, when we got to the room The room was on top floor (3rd) with no lift it was indeed a twin so then I had to go down stairs again to find someone
Then we went out while they zipped together the bed and changed the duvet
The staff there were attentive and the manager got us a drink for the disruption
Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast
But at £90 I feel this is overpriced for a top floor room that needs some TLC in fact quite a bit of TLC
Would I go back ????
Sadly not to this hotel/pub

Stayed here on business as they had good rates... the rooms are a little dated and the water pressure is quite weak but the hotel is clean the staff couldn't do enough to help and the food in the pub was lovely. Quite good value...
