We popped in during the day to reserve a table for dinner that evening. Told the barman we had a dog with us. They advised us that dogs are only allowed in the corner, and that we can't book a table. So, if we turned up later and someone was sat at the table, we couldn't eat. Unhelpful.
The staff behind the bar looked miserable.
The waitress just slapped the plates down on the table and didn't say a word.
The food wasn't particularly any good. (Had a steak and ale pie... tasted funny, and meat was dry)
The location is lovely, and the beer is good... but that's it.
