Spacious ground, spacious rooms. The 150acre ground was lovely, the river, the lake, however as there's sheeps and goats, a bit too much poops on the ground, it's country side, that's something you expected. The room is big and spacious, the shower was very nice! Loads of info on the area in the room. The door lock was a trick, it takes a minute or two to open it.

As it was a DBB package, we had dinner in its restaurant. The food was nice, however it's serving too slow, especially during breakfast time.

Also, we're disappointed that the wifi was not working on the night we stayed.

This hotel was a weekend away from it all for my wife and I. We had booked a suite as it was my wifes birthday.
The room didn't disappoint, we arrived at 9:30 Friday night and we were allocated room 11, it was very warm and welcoming, and very spacious. We we were too late for evening meal, so as we had passed a very nice looking Indian restuarant on the way in, we decided to have our meal there, what a wonderful meal.

The swimming pool was clean and tidy, the sauna was adequate and really clean.

Saturday Evening meal was superb, although as another guest has commented on this website, wine is around £9.00 per glass.
Altogether the weekend was really good and the hotel and suroundings are a really nice base from which to explore the surrounding areas.

I would recommend to anyone.

We spent 2 nights at Seiont Manor on 6th and 7th March 2009. We would highly recommend this hotel. The room and bathroom were both extremely spacious and felt luxurious, (which is great when you have a lot of hiking gear). The hotel is situated in a beautiful countryside location, Llanberis is only a few miles drive away for those looking to take the Llanberis Path up Snowdon.

The hotel had an adequate sized swimming pool and a small gym and sauna. The leisure facilities suited our needs and a swim and a sauna was very welcome after a long days hiking. I can understand that given the size of the hotel this hotel only has a limited amount of space to incorpoarte leisure facilities. I like the fact that this hotel is small and intimate. However, given the overall high standard of the hotel the changing room facilities were in dire need of a make-over.

Overall, the service at the hotel was excellent, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The quality of food and service at the restaurant was very high. Even though the restaurant prices were a little on the steep side, they did offer a set menu for just under £30 per person. Given the quality of the dining experience I felt it was very good value for money.

We had a genuinely enjoyable and relaxing stay at Seiont Manor and will definitely return in the future.

Really great hotel - lovely food and attentive service. Great location. Lovely rooms. Shame though - The swimming pool was closed. I understand that this is a recurrent problem. There is no excuse for it really - they ought to have someone on duty monitoring the pool and it suggests to me that they are taking shortcuts. It was a real shame as it was one of the things that attracted us to the hotel. If the pool was managed properly then the cloudiness would not have happened. This is a health and safety risk to guests. The "gym" is a bit laughable as well! It is a bit of a cupboard

A two day package of an Executive Room, dinner bed and breakfast was enticing enough. When offered with a complementary glass of champagne and canapés each night for £258 (2 nights) the decision was made. Snowdonia in early February is not everyone’s cup of tea but we wanted to see the magnificent mountains and countryside in winter and that is what we got.

Part of The Hand Picked Hotels Group with whom we have stayed before in the New Forest, Seiont Manor is tucked away in the foothills of Snowdon and there are no views of the range from any of the windows that we could see.

It is a comfortable hotel with a nice warm feel to it on arrival (in a snowstorm!) Reception was welcoming and friendly and after a little discussion the first room we were shown (on the ground floor with no view at all) was changed to an upstairs double-aspect room with views over rolling countryside to the sea in the far distance. Although the room (No 11) had all the necessary services, en suite bath/shower, big bed, good lighting etc, it felt a bit tired and in need of an update and a lick of paint. Also there was an air conditioning/boiler unit on an outside wall adjacent to our room which fired up every 20 minutes or so throughout the night which kept us awake on and off. Why do hotels do this? They must know that it is a problem and either sort it or at least warn guests so that an alternative room can be offered if available.

The public rooms are pleasant and the new conservatory a real plus. The heated pool is great to work off some of the calories gained in the excellent dining room. The food is very well prepared and presented and we much enjoyed everything we ordered. There is an excellent wine list with bottles for all tastes and pockets.

The hotel’s piece de resistance is its staff who, without exception, were polite, friendly, interested in you and very good at table service. Well done to whoever trains the team.

We would imagine the hotel is a great place to be based in the summer for exploring this lovely spectacular part of the British Isles and it has our recommendation.
