“Mother's Day Afternoon Tea”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

My husband and little one treated me to an afternoon tea. Lovely speciality tea with sandwiches and yummy scones. Better than all this was the relaxed atmosphere which you do not find in a lot of high end hotels. My boy could play dominos while we ate the bara brith. The staff were curtious and you do not feel rushed. Would go again.

Good location close to Snowdonia national park, Caernarfon and the coast.
Comfortable rooms, OK facilities and excellent food.
Overall good value, not the most stylish of hotels, but good quality throughout.
I would recommend for anyone with a young family looking for a good base in North Wales

This is the second time I have stayed at Seiont Manor. Once on business and most recently with my wife for a short break. It's telling that I (we) made a dedicated effort to return but this time parting with money from our own wallet.

Great location in an absolutely beautiful part of the UK. Quiet surroundings, lovely hotel, friendly staff (Helen at breakfast was particularly entertaining), good facilities and excellent food. We stayed on a dinner, B&B basis and were treated to a 'formal' dining experience on the two evenings we stayed. The food was well presented and excellently cooked. You could class the meal as a '6 course tasting menu' - the courses weren't large but amounted to ample food in total. My only gripe would be that no Welsh lamb was available during our stay!

One slight issue for the management to address would be the intermittent wifi connectivity in the hotel, especially given the rural nature of the hotel and therefore the lack of 3G phone coverage, however if you want a break from it all...

We'd definitely stay at the hotel again.

I stayed here with family after hiking up Mount Snowdon and I have to say, what a perfect end to a perfect day. I cannot fault the hotel on any front.

From the minute we checked in the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. They are a credit to the Hotel.

Our room far exceeded our expectations The bedroom and bathroom were huge, comfortable and very nicely decorated.

The pool and sauna were just what we needed after a strenuous day.

The bar and restaurant area is very nice and relaxing and the nibbles and olives brought over to us without asking were a nice touch.

The food was very nice and enjoyed by all; however, more choice for a non-meat eater would have been nice, although this did not affect our enjoyment.

After breakfast we had a wander wonderful stroll the grounds before setting off.

Although the hotel is advertised as a 3 star I would tend to disagree as in my opinion it is comfortably a 4 star. We would definitely return to this hotel again.

travel through the sublime scenery of the Llanberis Pass which slices through Snowdonia's magnificence. Turn right at Llanrug and follow the long drive to Seiont Manor Hotel. Park up - alight from your charriot and strech the miles out of your addled brain. And then whilst drinking in the view and breathing in the clean air say hello to the receptionist who has come outside to give you a smiling, genuine welcome. You are made to feel like the Prodigal Son returning into the warm bosom of your family. The fatted has been prepared in your honour...
Your room is characterful, luxurious and has its own balcony. The bathroom is spacious and elegant. Beds are comfortable - the TV a good size and works (not always the case in N. Wales). The turn-down service was exceptional in its detail.
Explore the Hotel on the way to the Dining Room - Bars, Impressive Conservatory, Library with a roaring fire, Pool and Sauna. We took the Market Menu option for dinner and were not disappointed. Local produce, beautifully cooked. Thoughtful, attentive and very friendly service. All HandPicked Hotels provide good nosh - this is the smallest hotel in the group and is determined to retain its reputation as the friendliest.
Breakfast is plumptious and tasty.
Seiont Mannor we will be back.
What a pity it took a while to respond to our request for banquet/event information. It was the only promise, overt or implicit you failed to keep.

We would like to say a huge thank you to magalie for being such a fantastic host. Magalie ensured we had a memorable valentines stay at seiont manor and her manorism. Customer care and attention to detail were out of this world. If magalie was working we would return every weekend. The reception staff and night porter were also really nice down to earth people we appreciated their ability to communicate with various people differently to ensure we felt at home. Room was lovely and bed was super comfy. Breakfast and food both outstanding. We may see you when the weather improves. Thank you for having such wonderful staff. Please make sure you look after them. They did your hotel proud.

we stayed here on valentines night on a package, bed breakfast and dinner and a bottle of champagne a good deal. the room was lovely spacious clean and warm, dinner and breakfast was great the staff were all lovely, now for the but and the only thing that let this hotel down the price of wine! we have stayed in lots of hotels and obviously they all charge up a little, but we have stayed in 5 star hotels and not paid £13.65 for 1 large glass of wine, plus unless you picked from the basic market menu you payed a few pounds supplement on most things on the menu £5.00 for loin of lamb .there are lots of good points about this place but im sorry the negatives would put me off returning

Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your recent stay at Seiont Manor Hotel.

I was delighted to read that you had an enjoyable stay with us.

Thank you for your comments with regards to wine prices, I can confirm that we do offer a wide selection of wines by the glass starting from a very reasonable £4.50 upwards.

I have made a note of your comment with regards to the menu, but I do beleive that our Market Menu offers excellent choice and this is supplemented by an a la carte menu where some items do have a supplement.

If you would like to discuss your comments further please do not hesitate to contact me at the hotel.
