We had a lovely relaxing time, tge hosts were so friendly and helpful even helping us out when our vehicle broke down, the cottage was immaculate, we can't wait to go back.
Arrived today and have to say the photos do not do the cottage justice, it is gorgeous. Perfectly laid out out accommodation, lots of lovely touches you don't expect. The grounds and views are stunning, peaceful and restful.Emyr and Jenny are lovely genuine people who take pride in their home and surroundings.A perfect retreat and our little pup loves it too
Very homely comfortable two storey cottage with fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. Large fully equipped kitchen, two toilets, fast Wi-Fi for trip planning. Owner provided lots of good local information. Good local Restaurants and takeaways. Well placed for exploring Snowdonia National Park by car.
Beautiful view from the serre all around, peaceful and quiet, Lovely garden/flowers around the cottage. Very well equipped, for selfcatering and in general. We had a lovely stay. Lovely surroundings, beach, Harlech castle, Portmeirion, the Italian villager, slatecaverns to visit. Nice walks, for example to the Nantcol waterfalls.
Nice little church at the beach, the St. Tanwg's church (5th century).
We had a fantastic week in this lovely cottage. Stunning views, well looked after home that had everything we needed, and a very warm welcome from the owners. We would definitely return.
Couldn't have asked for better, a comfy, cosy and well equipped cottage with lovely views. Ideally located for visiting numerous places of interest, including Barmouth, Harlech and Portmeirion. Owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. On our arrival it was a pleasant surprise not only to find all the essentials to make a hot drink but the added bonus of delicious Welshcakes. Would definitely stay again if we were visiting this lovely part of Wales.
Perfectly situated for Portmerion and Snowdon. Minutes from the coast and Harlech castle (with more stunning views). Plenty of good places to eat out nearby. We could easily have stayed longer than the 3 nights we booked.
We were very lucky to experience it in fantastic weather, but even without, this would be a comfortable, cosy place to relax. The owners have thought of everything; the kitchen is well-equipped and the little en-suite to the bedroom a nice touch (also a downstairs shower room). There are amazing views from the conservatory and perfect peace and quiet.
We would certainly return without a second thought - I rarely say that!
