“A perfect stay in Llanbedr”
Reviewed July 7, 2019 for a stay in July 2019

Tree Tops is a lovely cottage perfect for two with all you need. It's good located for hiking, sightseeing and hanging out at a near beach. What's making the cottage a perfect place is the warmly hospitality by Martin and Lynn. Any questions? You'll be helped. Thx so much to these owner.

What makes having a cottage so much fun is having visitors like these. Our guests from Europe were great company, interesting and very appreciative of the area of Ardudwy they had comer to stay in. They also shamed me by climbing Snowdon one day and two days later reached the peak of Cader Idris! It was fascinating and moving to discuss the twinning of Llanbedr with Huchenfeld just near where they live on the bank of the Nagold. Hope to see them again!

This place is amazing. The scenery will take your breath away. It’s a beautiful part of the world and the cottage is perfectly positioned for you to make the most of it. I would have been happy enough just staying in the cottage. It’s perfect for just relaxing. I can recommend just letting a few hours pass-by whilst sat on the balcony with a coffee or wine and enjoying the local wildlife.
Thank you Martin and Lynn for being great hosts

Delighted you found Tree Tops just what you wanted and the birds didn't disappoint with their feeding activities. I know what you mean, the balcony is hard to leave when the weather is warm! Glad you found the location handy for exploring the area, and hope you will be able to return sometime to discover more of Ardudwy.

“Exceptional! ”
Reviewed January 1, 2019 for a stay in December 2018

Three nights in Treetops over the new year and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Martin and Lynn are fabulous hosts, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The cabin is cosy, clean and perfectly situated a short walk outside the village of Llanbedr where we enjoyed excellent food and drinks in the local pubs. Lots to see and do in other surrounding villages and towns, we particularly enjoyed Harlech Castle and village shops. The cabin is well furnished, modern and the bed is very comfortable indeed. We will most certainly be back and hopefully get to enjoy the scenery in summer weather. We feel very rested and recharged it was so peaceful. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind comments. Really pleased you relaxed and enjoyed the local walks so much. Impressed with your almost sole reliance on public transport for your stay. Plenty more to see and do, look forward to your return sometime.

“Fantastic cottage, beautiful environment, lovely hosts”
Reviewed August 27, 2018 for a stay in August 2018

This is a big thank you to Martin and Lynn. Although we didn't meet Lynn she prepared the cottage so beautifully. It was immaculately clean, had all the things you would need for a week away and everything in the cottage was so lovely - the bedding, the shower, the lovely comfortable sofa .... Martin met us and took us up to the cottage on our arrival. It was obvious he wanted to be really helpful, which he was, and told us loads of information, not only about the cottage but also the local area. He kept us informed of any activities around the cottage, which might affect us, and checked up on us later in the week to see if we were OK in the bad weather (we didn't see much of it). We went out and about on some lovely walks - up to Nantcol Falls, a lovely walk with beautiful views. We didn't hardly need to use the car all week, which was a breath of fresh air to us. The short 20 minute walk to Llanber on the Sunday took us to the Victoria pub and we had one of the best Sunday lunches (lamb) we had had in a long time. Ty Mawr was also worth a visit and the food was lovely there too. Lovely to walk back at dusk when we saw birds of prey and bats too. Don't be put off walking in the dark, we felt perfectly safe - just take a torch and listen out for the very very occasional car. We walked loads of public footpaths, just take care if you see any cows and they had a bit of an attitude - best to be avoided. All in all a lovely week - we came away feeling really refreshed. Thank you so much Martin and Lynn. We would recommend your cottage to everyone.

Reviews like yours encourage us to keep up our efforts to maintain a high standard at Tree Tops. As you found you can spend much of the week doing local walks without the need of a car, and we are so pleased you enjoyed them. Maybe not the bit when you were chased by some inquisitive cattle! We hope you will be able to make a return visit and discover more of Ardudwy.

Absolutely wonderful little cottage. Ideally situated for exploring North Wales. Very cosy and has everything you need. Felt comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. Helped by Martin who is a fantastic host , met us on arrival to show us around the cottage and gave us some great information on the local area. Is always available to give additional information if needed but not in the slightest intrusive. We have to say at this point a special thank you to Martin for his offer of a lift back when he knew we were out walking and a storm came in , that went above and beyond what we would expect.
If you are thinking of booking , don't hesitate , lovely immaculate cottage , fantastic walks on your doorstep, beautiful views , stunning area , brilliant hosts..

Thank you for choosing Tree Tops amongst all the other Snowdonia rental properties. Despite changeable weather you managed some really good walks and bike rides, Roman Steps, Maddach Estuary and coastal beach walk to Barmouth, to name three. We appreciate the fine state you left the cottage in, which is very helpful on changeover day! Our wish is for guests to have a really memorable holiday and that is what makes renting the cottage worthwhile. If we can help achieve that then we are happy.
