We visited Y Meirionnydd just a couple days ago and miss it truly!

The team there are very kind and lovely and for a weekend away we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Snowdonia. If you are in the area this is definitely the place to go and I would also highly recommend the breakfast which is included, everything is made from scratch and the dinner was divine! Thanks Marc for looking after us.

Thank you to everyone at Y Meirionnydd for another amazing weekend. We stayed two nights but would love to stay longer one time. We have been a few times before and this is our favourite hotel to stay at in Wales. All the team are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are immaculate with great facilities, lovely shower after a long day walking with dressing gowns and a hot water bottle. The restaurant is always excellent, high quality local produce cooked to perfection. Lovely relaxing bar and breakfast room. If you are walking, you must pre-order the packed lunch, it is a real treat when you are on the hill. We will be going back soon.

Hello Louise and thank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely review on TripAdvisor.
We were thrilled that once again you had such a great weekend getaway despite the inclement weather but that's Snowdonia for you - at least you could look forward to a lovely dinner and a few drinks in our own restaurant.
We really look forward to welcoming you both again, it really is a pleasure when guests return - make it longer next time though!
Best wishes, Marc, Nick and the eam

We stayed here for a long weekend when mountain biking at coed y brenin. It was a real treat, lovely decor, relaxing atmosphere, nice bar and atmospheric restaurant in the cellar. The food in the restaurant was very good and hosts couldn't do more for you. We went back for a second visit recently because we liked it so much.

Fabulous owner, staff, food, room...and gin selection! We had a lovely stay in the Cadair room which has a gorgeous view from the window. The welcome couldn’t have been warmer and the food in the restaurant was outstanding, steak cooked to perfection. Loved the extra touches, hot water bottle and dressing gownsvery welcome after a day in the cold. All in all, would thoroughly recommend and we hope to be back to enjoy the surroundings in the Summer.

Hello RlittlewoodL and thank you so much for taking the time to write such a glowing review of your stay with us on a cold snowy weekend.
Cadair is always a very popular room, a perfect escape from all the stresses of life and often with a beautiful view of Cadair Idris itself. I'm pleased you enjoyed all the extras we place in the rooms too.
We'd love to see you both again in the summer and remember to book directly with us, we have all the availability and the best prices too.

We visited Dolgellau and stayed here for the first time. We were made very welcome by Marc, Nick, and their staff.
From our cosy, clean room we could see Cader Idris. The bedding was of the highest quality and super comfy.
We had the most tender fillet steak in the quirky cellar restaurant. The wine list was excellent.
We felt like valued customers and Marc and Nick couldn’t do enough for us. We are really looking forward to future visits.
Next time we will book direct rather than through an internet operator.

Dear Terry B
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a glowing review, we were all so pleased to read it.
I'm especially pleased that you thought so much of the Cadair room, it's a real 'bolthole' room, cosy, quiet and with a (usually) great view of Cadair, the jewel in the crown in this part of Snowdonia.
It would be fantastic if you could book directly with us for you next visit; booking websites charge us, the small hotels, a huge amount of commission that is a real burden for us and you will always get the best price booking directly with us.
Once again thank you so much for your review and we look forward to seeing you both again very soon,
