A pleasant walk around the contour of the hillside returning along the lake. Mostly flat but a little lumpy and muddy in places. Definitely one to do if you like great views. Not suitable for pushchairs!

Well marked paths courtesy of the Nannau estate with amazing views of the Mawddach valley as well as Aran hills and Rhinogs and many others. Walk is mainly flat as car park is up the hill from Dollgellau.
Toilets and nice car park. Route well signposted and nice fishing lake on route too.

Easy walk but some narrow sections with screed which could become treacherous in wet weather. Took about 1.5hrs

We did this walk during our stay in Snowdonia and were lucky enough to have a dry day that wasn't too hot and we're so glad we did it! The views were breathtaking, the walk itself took us around 3 hours to complete. It has some narrow areas which are quite high up to walk around but it isn't a difficult walk. I'd definitely recommend this walk to anyone staying in the Snowdonia National Park! There is a car park, which is free to park in and is a descent size at the start of the walk. There are also toilets here but as we didn't use them, couldn't say how well they're looked after.
