The holiday cottage info file recommended a few places in the area and this was the most convenient. First impressions are good, welcoming, smart but unpretentious. The tables are well spaced out which means it lacked bit of a buzz but good for more private conversations. The set menu and a la carte had plenty of choice and wine list a good range. The lamb was delicious , vegetables good and service impeccable. It may lack a bit of sparkle but seems a very good place for a pleasant evening out. Not inexpensive but good value.

We had a perfectly pleasant meal and some of the food like the haddock soup was rather good but it does lack atmosphere with a rather dated look. The service was casual to say the least and we did have better meals in Criccieth

If you're looking for a good restaurant that does lots of different things at a good price and that isn't very formal, then this is the place for you. We had a lovely time - food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful and atmosphere was relaxed.
Would go back.

Best restaurant in the area.Food is always of a high standard and competively priced. The two course set menu is very good value for money at £15.95.We visit on our special occasions and have never left feeling that something could have been better.
The chicken meals are always delicious with various sauces and local veg.
Try the homemade apple and walnut pud wow.
Book before hand or you could be dissapointed even in the low season.
