The holiday cottage info file recommended a few places in the area and this was the most convenient. First impressions are good, welcoming, smart but unpretentious. The tables are well spaced out which means it lacked bit of a buzz but good for more private conversations. The set menu and a la carte had plenty of choice and wine list a good range. The lamb was delicious , vegetables good and service impeccable. It may lack a bit of sparkle but seems a very good place for a pleasant evening out. Not inexpensive but good value.
