Lovely location in a quiet corner of the Lleyn, beach outside. Great as a base too as you can travel about as we like doing. Fabulous breakfast by Judith with Martin as the waiter. Full of knowledge about where to go and it helped us greatly. Would recommend to anyone

Room Tip: Room 6 great view, waves lapping send you to sleep.

This B&B was fantastic - the location overlooking the sea is beautiful and only very short walk from the castle (we even saw dolphins one evening); the room was spacious, nicely decorated and thoughtful with very comfortable beds and a good shower; the owners were incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful; and served up a delicious breakfast with a great range of cereals, yogurts and fruit as well as cooked options. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Definitely worth opting for the sea view, it was beautiful and you may spot a dolphin!

My boyfriend and I stayed here earlier this month on a last minute deal. We stayed in room number 9 which was very spacious and overlooked the sea. The room was very clean with tea and coffee facilities. The hotel itself is situated round the corner from Criccieth castle. The owners greeted us with a warm welcome. They helped us with ideas of where to visit in the local area. Breakfast was to a high standard with a wide range of foods on offer for breakfast. I'd definitely recommend it to couples and families alike.

Spent 2 nights at Awel Mor in Criccieth, a small but peaceful town on the Llyn Peninsula.

Martin and Judith are great hosts and knowledgeable as we knew exactly where to eat, drink and visit through there array of leaflets in the foyer. Rooms are spacious and breakfasts were great, all fresh ingredients, service was excellent, they clearly enough looking after their guests!!

Criccieth in nice in itself if you want to stay in the area, it's an ideal base to explore the Llyn Peninsula, lots of beaches, with Porthmadog and Portmeirion nearby along with Anglesey and the North Wales coast.

We are coming back for a week this time to explore more.

Recently stopped here with four friends whilst on a motor biking trip, very friendly, nice rooms and great breakfast. It's nice to meet a couple that are so biker friendly.
Couldn't need anymore from a B+B. See you next year.

I have just spent the week at the Awel Mor everything was top class. Due to my early leave in the mornings, Judith put me up a packed lunch every day. I had to tell them to not put me so much up, has you could have fed a small family with it. If I ever have to stop in Criccieth again, I will be ringing to see if they have room.
