“Anniversary treat”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Having previously enjoyed Sunday lunch at the hotel on two occasions, we decided to treat ourselves to the short break deal on offer of 3 nights with dinner and breakfast. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, as are all the public areas. All the staff were friendly and helpful even passing the time of day when they saw us in town. The food was beautiful in presentation and taste with a varied menu at breakfast and dinner. The bar and lounge are inviting and relaxing for drinks before or after dinner with wonderful views of Cardigan Bay.

This recently renovated hotel is on the seafront in Criccieth. All rooms are modern and well furnished with ample hot water and flat screen TV's , The reception areas have fantastic views over the bay but the real selling point if the food- absoloutly fantastic ; as good as many michlelin starred places that I have visited but for a fraction of the price. Well worth a visit!

My husband and I stayed for two nights the hotel and staff were superb the best we have ever stayed the rooms were outstanding ( Room 35 with a sea view) and the restaurant food was of the highest quality hope to return in October for our wedding annivesary.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be of high standard but the rooms with a sea view are outstanding

I was taken to Sunday lunch by my sister when visiting Cricceith earlier this month. Absolutely first class in every way, lovely meal, spotless hotel, as a 5 star Guest House owner in S.Africa myself one tends to be hyper observant, and I was really impressed with the whole hotel, the staff, decor, everything, congratulations ! Best wishes,
John Chance

Room Tip: Great foiod and ervice!

Reluctant to share this gem as I can't get a room for 2 weeks time but Nick & team deserve no less. Beautifully renovated, great setting and food, friendly service. Great value-for-money for the quality.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights 21st to 25th August 2012. Our room was superb with the most amazing sea views, it was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The food in the restaurant was of the highest quality. The lounge and bar also have fantastic views across the bay and were also very well appointed, immaculate and comfortable. This hotel deserves a higher rating than 3 stars. What a gem!

Room Tip: We had room 16 and it was huge, well appointed with amazing sea views
