Outstanding location for this flat lander group from Texas. The first two days were rainy with dramatic waves crashing against the sea wall. Having a lift is a definite plus and especially one that has personality! The rooms were bright with outstanding view of the sea, lovely en-suite baths. The staff at reception was friendly and the breakfast was beautifully served by the wait staff. We did take evening meals there a couple of times when we got back from our excursions in time. The food presentations were lovely and well prepared.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room as it is very beautiful.

Four of us dined & had the three course set Sunday Menu. Starters - smoked haddock fishcakes - delicious! Between us for main, we sampled the lamb, turkey & beef, all were beautiful with fresh vegetables & roast potatoes. We all asked for yorkshire puddings which again homemade & delicious. Dessert - Two portions of Lemon merangue Pie & two helpings of brandy snap basket with a trio of local icecreams, lovely!

Everything was presented beautifully & the staff very friendly.

Excellent value, £100 including drinks, a bottle of wine & a tip. Diolch yn fawr!!

A table of 8 of us booked to eat here for a meal on a saturday night after we had heard good things about it! Recently refurbished hotel. We initially were seated in the lounge area for drinks and to order our food, attentive staff and a lovely, reasonably priced meal which we all throughly enjoyed and will definitely return in future.

As non residents we made a reservation for dinner in the recently refurbished restaurant which was a pleasure from start to finish. We were served by two very friendly yet professional staff who welcomed us on arrival and were very attentive throughout the evening. The food was superb. I had the lamb shank which was so tender and succulent and presentation was excellent. The views over Cardigan Bay are stunning and after our meal we had coffee in the very stylish and comfortable loinge again with the same stunning views. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and everyone we came into contact with was very pleasant. We will be spending our next holiday at this hotel based on our experience there.

There is an old-school charm about this family-owned hotel, though all the facilities are completely up-to-date. The staff and owners are charming and nothing is too much trouble. My room (third floor front) was very clean and comfortable with fabulous sea view. The food is good with emphasis on local ingredients and breakfast is excellent. The lounge, with view of the sea, is relaxing and comfortable.

Room Tip: Worth the extra to get a room at the front with sea view.
