Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here for a golfing weekend. As other reviewers have stated the rooms are really nicely furnished with a good hot and powerful walk in shower. Breakfast was piping hot and excellent fair. Right on the front the centre of town is a short 5 min walk. Highly recommend.

The hotel has lovely views across the bay and is situated in a good position. We stayed there for 2 days and had a nice room which was very clean and furnished nicely. We didn't get to meet the owners but everyone seemed friendly. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning and would go back there if visiting the area again.

Location is everything and Criccieth is ideally situated as base camp for all walks in North Wales. The Plas Isa ticked all the boxes and more, the hosts Ian and Anna went the extra yard to make our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Being a family run hotel is a bonus giving it a friendly and warm ambience, ex international Welsh footballer Ian had great patience answering all our questions about his career, I'm sure he gets asked the same questions week in week out but always did so with great enthusiasm, a real gent. Oh and have to mention it was great value as well with amazing views of Criccieth Castle and bay. Can't wait to return. As the 10cc song goes "I don't like Criccieth - ah, oh no, I love it - ah" .... poetic licence (Dreadlock Holiday).

An excellent family run hotel - perfect for hill walking all over snowdon national park. Great location on beach, great family running it, and great fun. Anna and Ian do a great job. Remember to ask Ian about his footballing history.

We had a lovely two night stay here and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Our sea view room had fantastic views of the bay & castle. The room was very comfortable and clean with en suite bath. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, and the food & service was excellent-Anna has an extensive menu. There is a nice bar area which includes a comfy conservatory to relax in. I am sure that we will return!

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be excellent value for money. The owners Anna and Ian were very welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful, The room was well furnished and the ensuite was very good. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was of a high quality and breakfast in the morning was superb. Yes I will definitely be returning to the Plas Isa.

Had a fantastic meal on Saturday 3rd August with my husband. The Moroccan Lamb was out of this world and the slow cooked Pork was mouth watering. We wish we could go there every week.
Always a lovely experience going to this hotel for a meal. The service and staff are always happy and very obliging.
