We have had food in more than 50 Indian / Bangladeshi restaurants, but never had such a worst experience. The food was unhygienic as we found pieces of yogurt packing boxes. None of the item is even close to Indian or Bangladeshi taste, half cooked meat and dry rice. The food is expensive for the kind of quality and taste. We stood more than 15 mins without any staff asking to take the table and food arrived after 1 hour. There were 2 more group who just left the place because no one cared to take an order from them, we should have done the same. No apology for making us wait, very bad customer service.

I would not recommend anyone to visit this place, it will be waste of time, money, patience and you may fall sick of unhygienic food.

We stayed in cricceth for a week and we decided to try this restaurant it was a buffet evening and we thought it may be busy .when we arrived it was very quiet and the buffet was ok but not a lot of choice . Whenever I went up to fill my plate I felt I was been watched by the waiter who kept hovering near me and when I returned to the table he would then keep going back to the hot plates and checking the lids had been put back on the dishes .service was not very good and some of the food very bland (chicken korma ).

As this is the only Indian restaurant in Criccieth, it has no competition - and that is probably why they don't act on feedback. Four of us in our party visited at approx 8.30pm on a weekday evening just as the only other customers had finished. We were served by a very surly waiter who argued that the 2 greasy and inedible poppadoms we complained about (of the 8 we ordered and paid for) were actually extras he had given us for free! The chutneys were very small and not refilled (despite there being 4 of us) and when they were empty the waiter appeared with 2 fresh poppadoms! The different curries we had were quite dry and totally unlike any curries I had eaten in the last 40+ years. Although quite tasty, they were let down by being so dry and nowhere near as hot as they were supposed to be (it was literally a case of "hunt the chilli"). An expensive choice of restaurant - would have expected far better for the price.

Went for a Birthday meal with 8 people, fairly busy on the night we went due to the eat all buffet. Stayed away from that and ordered off the menu. The food on the night was great, lots of meat in the curries and not the same sauce used in different meals which is the normal indian trick. If only the service was as good as the food! Think they must have been short of staff on the night, as drinks took an age to come, mistakes made in the orders and everything was so slow, shame as it spolied the evening and let them down. Lots of people come in for take aways, which is understanable as the food is good, maybe next time we will do the same.
