A warm and friendly welcome, lovely rooms and an excellent breakfast, we have been regular visitors for many years now and think that the Seaspray is one of the best B&B’s we have ever found 10/10

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Seaspray. We had a double room on the top floor with a great sea view. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had all we needed for our stay. The bathroom was compact but very nice. The location is very peaceful and all we could hear was the sound of the waves lapping and crashing - a lovely noise to wake up to.

The centre of Criccieth is only a short walk away and the owners were very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. The breakfast was excellent and definitely sets you up for the day. We didn't have any issue with parking and managed to get a space on the sea front just outside.

Overall, an excellent B&B with very pleasant, unimposing owners. We will definitely look to return before too long.

This was the third stay at this fantastic b&b accommodation, which in itself speaks volumes. Manya and Mike are two really friendly and lovely people who go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as they possibly can, with a great knowledge of places in and around the North Wales area. We will definitely be visiting them again and again (God willing).

we too have been back a number of times with our young family. Manya and Mike are really accommodating and, as has been said already, really help you make the most of a short break with their local knowledge.

The rooms are comfortable and both the family rooms have a seaview - look out for the porpoises in the bay!

There is a beach directly opposite and Criccieth castle is just two minutes walk. More importantly the Cadwalader's ice cream parlour is a couple of minutes further up the hill.

As keen walkers this is a great base for making the most of snowdonia - there are many famous walks within half and hours drive.

There is also a high ropes course just down the road and white water rafting 30 mins towards Bala.

OK - there is no private parking but we have never had a problem parking outside on the occassions that we have visited.

We have stayed at Seaspray a number of times, most recently in May 2009, in a variety of different rooms. Criccieth is a quiet and pretty little seaside town in a great location on the north Wales coast.

First of all Manya and Mike are fantastic freindly hosts with great hints and tips for trips out, things to see and restaurants to dine in the evenings. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and appear to have been updated since the photos on the website. On our last visit a cot was provided for the baby free of charge. Tea and coffee facilities provided in the room too. The owners helped us with our numerous bags up to the room.

The full cooked breakfast is excellent using bacon and sausage from local butchers and is one of the best cooked breakfasts I have ever had although they do offer other choices including a cooked vegetrarian breakfast on a menu card supplied on check in to be filled out the night before. Breakfast is served in a breakfast room at the rear adjoiing the kitchen and had a real homely feel about it. A high chair was provided for the baby and a selection of toast, fruit and cereals.

Over breakfast the hosts were busy advising other guests on days out, routes for walking and where to park. They also had leaflets on hand for local attractions and the timetables for the Festiniog Railway and the Snowdon Railway

The property is located right on the sea front, opposite the beach and next to the castle which perches on the cliff top overlooking the sea.

From memory there are 4 rooms in total, 3 with en suite facilities and 1 large family room with private bathroom facilites. The 2 rooms at the front have spectacular views out over the bay and on a few mornings we saw a school of porpoises swimming just off the beach.

There are menus in the room for local restaurants withing walking ditsance and on previous trips the owners have given us recommendations and even made table bookings for us.

Our only slight gripe, and it is slight, is that there is no dedicated parking and cars have to be parked on the sea front street outside.

We love the homely atmosphere and the service and we have found so many things to see and do in this area that we keep coming back. The price was excellent value and has barely risen over the last few years and I think would struggle to be beaten at around the £30 per person per night mark.
