We visit Criccieth every year (for the past 18 years) and have stayed in various different accommodation types. This house is perfect for a large group - or if you want the luxury of a big newly renovated house with all mod cons.
The location is great for exploring all of Criccieth and as a base to use public transport (trains and bus) farther afield. There's plenty of parking space at the rear of the building for car users which means you can get to explore more of Gwynedd
The house is spotlessly clean. Well decorated and maintained. Freeview TV, wifi, dishwasher, washer, dryer, good oven, 2 X fridges, 2 X freezers, utility room. TVs in several of the bedrooms. Conservatory looking out over wonderful garden with 2 fruit trees.
Being here in Autumn is still worth the trip as there's much to do and the area is beautiful all year round. The garden must be even more amazing in summer.
Some of the local cafes close after October half term for the winter and half term week is always busy.
We've spent NYE in Criccieth before and there's never a bad time to come.
Be respectful to local Welsh heritage and language as this really is what makes the place so magical.
Would stay in the house again as it has everything you could need and more.
Just stayed in the lovely cottage for a week. Amazing time had by myself, hubby and our 10 month old little girl. House is spotlessly clean which wad brilliant. Well equipped and so comfy. Criccieth is a wonderful place. Castle and beaches amazing. Views fro. Cottage amazing. We will be booking again
Great position, lovely views of the castle. Enclosed garden for children, uneven in areas so toddlers need to be supervised. Playground, beach, cadwaladers, local shops, coastal walks all on yr door step so a car not needed to enjoy your holiday
