We had a lovely week in Criccieth. The cottage is perfectly situated on the high street behind the chapel. It's quiet and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We'd definitely stay again!
This could be a really lovely cottage. It's location is a gear asset. The photo of the cottage is taken from next doors garden. There is no garden as such. See photos attached. The sell when walking into the cottage was awful. We could not identify where the smell was coming from! No amount of plug in air fresheners could hide the smell and believe me, there were many. After cleaning everywhere ( although the cottage was not dirty) I resorted to a hands on knees approach. The smell was from the rug and the sofas. We lasted until Thursday and came home :( the lady who lives at the beautiful chapel is adamant and quite righty so that the gate must be shut to prevent her dogs getting out onto the road. Please may I suggest that you get your gates mended so they can be closed properly.
Everything as it should be. Great Cottage in a great location. 5 Mins to beach, castle, pubs, chippy etc.
i stayed her 3 nights , great warm comfy cottage off high st , set behind an old chapple that sells antiques so no street noise .
as the previous report says there is damp ? i can say that there isnt any at all ! and dont know why they would say this ? i would recomend this to couples or familys and those with dogs as its dog friendly
