Came with a EF tour group, which was handled very well. The hotel is clean and spacious. The staff is awesome. No elevator. Wifi is great. Restaurant and bar offer good food at good price. The lounge on the second floor is great for families and groups.

My wife and I have just returned from a 5 day break travelling with Wilfreda Beehive coach holidays.
The Hotel is located in New Brighton just outside Mold.
We were welcomed by the Duty Manager who came onboard the coach to greet us. Whilst the cases were taken to our room we were offered tea/coffee and a piece of cake.
Our room 114 was located to the back and side of the hotel overlooking a lawn and conifer hedge.
A decent sized room, twin bed, flat screen TV, coffee/tea making facility, 2 armchairs, decent size wardrobe, desk, good drawer space. The furniture was in teak and in good order. The Bathroom was an acceptable size with some toiletries provided.
Breakfast: Limited choice of cereals (3), fresh fruit. The full English breakfast was good, served buffet style by a member of staff.
Dinner: Choice of 4 mains/desserts.
Service: Starters served by staff, Main course served by staff, vegetables brought to the table so you could help yourself. Sweets served by staff.
Tea/Coffee served after the meal.
Service: Started out really well, efficient/pleasant young staff members trained to Silver Service standards and eager to help. Unfortunately as the week went on the standard dropped. (This I feel was due to the fact that new members of staff were being trained. Consequently the young staff were timid/nervous/unsure.)
On the Negative side: The Mattresses were lumpy. The Room walls thin. Food: Not bad value, needs more variety of Cereals, the Selection of Cheeses needs to be better than the two types available.
On the Positive side: Good value for money, clean hotel (rooms and public areas) One of the better 3 star hotels I have stayed in for the money.
Good base for visiting North Wales.

Room Tip: The Hotel is in a quiet area, little noise from passing traffic. Our Room 114 was quiet but thin wal...

The Beaufort Park gets a bad press as it's main customers are of an older generation. The rooms are clean and comfortable with free wifi and freeview tv. the food is plentiful and tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely book again and I'm only 44!

Celebrated my 60th birthday with the family last Sunday lunch. We had our own private room The Regent Suite.Everything was spot on and we had an excellent afternoon. The food (a Sunday lunch) ,the service and all staff made for a special day. Thanks to everyone at the Beaufort, would certainly recommend this venue.

We booked 12 rooms at the hotel for guests attending our daughters wedding. We also arranged with their events manager a dinner for 23 people the night before the wedding. Everything was superb we cannot fault anything. We would also say, that despite some comments you have previously received, the food in the Orchard Restaurant was excellent. The quality and service most commendable.

Room Tip: Go for an Executive room.

We stayed here for two nights when meeting up with family in the area. Hotel a bit tired and room needs some tlc but was clean. The plus side was breakfast. Good selection, well cooked and plentiful. Staff in restaurant were very pleasant.

The venue was lovely, the staff were friendly approachable and helpful. Buffet was superb, DJ was fantastic and funny!
I can't praise them enough - cocktails made to order, kept up to date on everything - a truly effortless visit! Brilliant!
