Went there on Sunday for the all you can eat Buffett at the time it looked ok, all starters looked fresh and just cooked but the mains where defenatly heated up!! The Buffett started at 3pm we got a table at 3pm expecting the food to be fresh and just cooked but instead the egg fried rice had the consistency of rice pudding the ok and chicken was quater full also the veg in black bean sauce. All veg well over cooked or re heated. Today is Tuesday and I havent stoped being sick since then. I'm absolutely appaled by this standard of food. Will never been going again it's put me off Chinese for life! Tai o = avoid!!!

my brother, sister in law & i visited the tai o last sunday for the lunchtime buffet.the restaurant is light, spacious, comfortably air conditioned & the music ain't bad for a chinese restaurant either!!.it was about a third full & we were quickly seated at a table near the buffet...result!! the staff(mostly young) were all smiley, polite & flew around the place checking that all was well, clearing used plates & checking for drinks etc-all in all a very high standard of service from such a young crew...result number 2!! the buffet was totally amazing value for less than a tenner - soup, prawn toast, spring rolls, seaweed, ribs, salt & pepper chicken wings, crispy wontons, squid rings, salt & pepper chips(if ain't ever tried 'em you don't know what you're missing!!) to name but a few starters with 4 or 5 excellent main courses, rice & noodles etc.to round it off fresh water melon, oranges, grapes, toffee fruit & a chocolate fountain with marshmallow's for dipping....yep,all for £8.90...c'mon!!the food was constantly checked & topped up so everything was hot & tasted freshly cooked....result number 3!!
total bill for the three of us including a beer & pot of chinese tea? £30...unbeatable value, quality & service..we'll be going again.......soon!

If you want a nice Chinese which do good Sunday afternoon buffets this is an option. They serve good food and we always enjoy it whenever we go there. £10 for an all you can eat buffet, with lots of choice. Atmosphere is very good with the random music in the background.

Service is pretty poor though.. They could give a smile once or twice.
