Fantastic place! Recently visited the Rainbow as friends had recommended it to us. The food was superb, easily the best in the area. A wide range of fresh fish and local meats. The sea bream was to die for, cooked to perfection! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Could not fault it in any way. We will be back again without a doubt!

Wasn't sure what to expect but we weren't disappointed! Outside is a little dated but work on this place is obviously an on going project and very important to the owners. On entry it can be a little misleading and we weren't sure whether to sit or go to the bar but the friendly staff where on hand to guide us to our table. There is a large selection of food with some locally sourced products and lots of seasonality choices, I had the Cod with Haddock Brandarde which was outstanding and my wife had the 'fish n Chips' which again was fantastic. The portions are some what large even for me (this isn't a complaint) and the food quality is 5*, our service was very good and we would be happy to re visit. You may need to book towards the weekend!!

We eat here from time to time and it just gets better everytime. Busy place and drinkers at the bar still welcome. Food genuinely prepared on the day. Chicken liver pate to die for- rich and tasty, best fish and chunky chips I have had in ages, local mussels always delicious and steak and ale pie left a clear plate. 4 people with wine for under £100 takes some beating.

We went for fathers day, its the 3rd time we've been since it has been taken over and we love it. The food is always excellent and the service is very good too and they are really child friendly. It is our favorite local place to eat. Would recommend.
