Recently had a stay at this hotel and found it was worth every penny.

The room was lovely to stay in and enjoyed using the swimming facilities.

Staff were very friendly from moment stepped into the hotel. Would like to give special thanks to the young lady at reception, Ayla, who did not hesitate to help with any of my needs or questions. Made the stay that more enjoyable.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

We stayed for two niights on a cheap deal £89 per room including evening meal. We found the staff friendly and helpfull, the food was excellent and with a good buffet breakfast the dog enjoyed his sausage breakfast also.
The rooms were clean and quite spacious with a good sized TV. My wife thought there could have been a little more drawer space for clothes, but for two nights this was not an issue.
You got free Wifi and access to the leisure facilities, the dog could come out with us in the evenings into the patio area or the air conditioned conservatory while we enjoyed an evening drink.
We enjoyed our stay and thank you to the staff for contributing to our enjoyment of the hotel.
We have used Devere hotels in the past and this urban village range is a little lower in quality than some, but for the price, excellent value.
Just one extra comment, the price for the dog is an extra £15 per night, but considering that he got breakfast then this was not too bad.

Room Tip: With the hotel being near the busy road a room facing the lawned area will get the least traffic noi...

Stayed at the village st david with our 3 year old whilst we were doing various surrounding theme parks. Everything about this hotel was perfect for us...convenient location, beautiful outside seating area (it was a very warm day), ground floor bedroom for easy access. The bedroom was adequate for us,clean, comfortable bed and room temperature, my 3 year old loved her special pull out sofa bed, and the room was pleasant enough to sit in and watch tv. We ate in the victory pub which was very reasonably priced and nice food. Nice breakfast and enjoyable use of pool in the morning. Lovely, helpful staff and easy check in/out. Will definitely stay again if in the area and would always choose a village hotel for our stays all over the country if possible. They have just thought of everything. Highly recommend.

Stayed for 1 night on a spa package. Our room was modern and well-appointed with a large TV with loads of channels, a nice bathroom (although the bath leaked), and was very quiet in the night. The spa was fantastic - the staff were so friendly and the treatments were top notch. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice but did not use the gym so can't comment on that. Had a three course meal in the restaurant which was very good and again the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was self-service with lots of choice and was very good indeed. This is a busy hotel but with lots to do.

Great value on Laterooms at £69 bed and breakfast. Rooms were excellent with comfy beds, soft pillows and nice plasma tv. The free leisure centre is another bonus, and breakfast was great, with large choice. Free wi-fi gives a great signal. We had dinner in the restaurant where the staff were very helpful, grate service and food. We also had a lovely dinner in the pub, 3 lovely members of staff on Tom, Sian and Beth, who were very informative and helpful, portion sizes are generous we had a lovely time, however my only niggle would be the traffic noise from the A55.

Stayed for just one night in a standard double room which allowed dogs, the room was slightly better than expected after reading reviews on here. It was spacious, clean and modern.
The Bathroom was slightley more tired looking, mouldy ceiling, dirty grout etc.
Tea/coffee making facilties were poor, only enough milk to make 1 cuppa each.
We overlooked the courtyard, which was lovely and didnt experience any night time noise.
Used leisure facilities which were good, the changing rooms were fab, very modern and clean.
Had an evening meal in Verve which was good.Breakfast was poor, didn't look very appetising, dried up eggs etc.
There is a nice walk across road with a lake/duck pond which is nice if you have dogs.
All staff that we had dealings with were very friendly and polite, they seemed abit understaffed on checkout 10am Sunday morning, stood behind a group of women, bickering over who was paying for what, stood there for 15 minutes, when i got served it took just 10 seconds to take key off me as was payed up, didnt want to push in, but was annoyed as had to wait so long.
