Stayed here for my cousins Birthday Party which was actually held at the hotel itself so this review is also about the functions this establishment provides. I had a great sea view from room 217 over the coast. It was so relaxing to sit in the bay window and watch the sea. The rooms are very light and airy. Beds are comfortable, Tea and coffee facilities provided as is a hair dryer and a tv. The bathroom I stayed in was spacious and airy although one point to note was that the sink in the bathroom was of the no plug type which was a bit of a shame really because you couldn't fill the sink with water. Breakfast is full english and is very nice.

The Beaches suite in the hotel was where the party was held at and credit where credit is due they did a marvelous job on furnishings and, they did a fantastic job with the food by providing a fish and chip buffet which consisted off medium pieces of boneless battered cod served with chunky chips in a cone together with sachets of tartar sauce, salt, vinegar, Brown and red sauce. The function suite also had fabulous views over the sea and had access to decking where you could sit out at tables and enjoy the views.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and I highly recommend this one.

For evening meals, we never tried it but in the past we have dined at the "bells of st. mary's which is on the main A548 heading towards Mostyn and Flint.

This hotel has the honour of being the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My colleagues and I swap stories about how awful it is. The first warning sign was being handed a remote control at check-in. The bar was unable to pour a glass of wine, the sandwich was dire, the breakfast so bad I gave up and stuck to toast, the staff were friendly to be fair but no idea of how to do their job. My room was clean but consisted of what looked like 1980's MFI furniture. My "desk" was a child's dressing table, the blinds failed to shut out the light as I needed to open the window due to the heat (no curtains), the window leaked, and I couldn't sleep when it rained as being on the top floor, the tin-like roof was so noisy. I was rather envious of the people in the holiday camp next door. I'm only reviewing so late as I've just joined Trip Advisor, but I remember the stay clearly as it was so bad and we are all adamant we won't sleep there again on our travels!

Room Tip: Sleep somewhere else!

The hotel is ideal for a golf stay.there is quite a few courses around about. The hotel is clean bright an most welcoming.the rooms are roomy bright and if you can get a sea view all the better. Food we eat in the bar was well done and plenty. Breakfast is served to you and is plentiful all the tea and coffee you need. Good friendly staff. Would stay there again if in North Wales.

Room Tip: Ask for seaview

Stayed here for 3 nights in March!
I can honestly say, that it was not the best experince.
The hotel is in a great location on the beach front which is lovely for walking and views. The hotel its self is could do with some upgrades in certain rooms.
Our first room offered was a small family room right at the end of the hotel, and was over the kitchen....not a place I wanted to sleep and was not furnished to its best. Old furniture in need of replacing. Moved to another standard room in a better location facing the car park. Again the furniture is old and need replacing. This room however felt more like a hotel room rather than an adhoc room just put on the end as an overflow room!

The food in the restuarant was not brilliant and was cold!
My breaksfasts were also cold!
The swimming pool was lovely, but best to go in it when everyone else out of it as it is quite small, but pleasant.

This hotel seems to be always booked and popular and is not bad, but it could of been better. If you are going to stay then pay for a really good room over looking the sea.
the staff are freindly and it if wasn't for Jeff our waiter I think the whole experince would have been a disaster!

Room Tip: Not the best!

My first impression of the beaches hotel were very welcoming by the staff, Sacha was truly an amazing manager for the hotel she couldn't seem to enough for us, I have read the latest review from the guy who stayed the same night complaining that you could hear the wind through the window well not sure if opened his curtains because you could step straight onto the beach so it usually comes with a sea breeze. It's that close to the sea. My room was lovely and clean agree could do with a little upgrade in the rooms but still well worth the price per night. I would rate this hotel a four star with the facilities and breakfast and the standard of what you get in room. I managed to see the bridle suit whilst on my stay and it really took my breath away, drinks in the beaches were reasonable food was outstanding staff were amazing thank you all for a wonderful stay. Xxxx

We had our whole wedding at the Beaches on 30th March 13 and we have to let everybody know what a perfect venue this is. General Manager Sasha is amazing at her job, she goes above and beyond with every detail, and ran herself off her feet on the day to make sure everything was perfect.
All the staff (reception, waiting on and bar staff) were so friendly and attentive, with a special mention to Jo on reception and the restaurant manager. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Big thank you to everybody, it was a perfect day.
For anybody thinking of booking a wedding there, do it!! You won't regret choosing The Beaches Hotel.

First impression was not good. Reception had trouble locating my booking. Given a room at the top of the hotel which was cold and very basic. The wind could be heard howling across the roof.
Back at reception Reluctantly I was given another room on a different floor. This room was only slightly larger than the first. Furniture cheap and basic, beds were hard and uncomfortable. Room was in desperate need of decorating. Mirror and pictures had not been put on the wall straight. Bathroom door did not have a lock but this didn't matter as the door would not shut. bedroom door should be a fire door but was so badly fitted that the light from the hall was shining into the room.
Breakfast was cold and greasy with a lack of choice that I have never encountered in a hotel before.
Staff had no leadership and that was proven when I asked for a pot of tea and did not seem to know how to deal with this simple request.
This hotel was not cheap. I feel that I would have been better served if I had stayed at a budget hotel for half the cost
