DATE 19/04 /07 We visited the waterfalls yesterday has a family day out . My husband is disabled can't walk very far at all . Unfortunateley on the day of the visit he was suffering with sciatica very bad has well. The rest of the family went over to the picnic area with the benches . If you know the layout at the side of the tea shop you have to go up a steep step and over a wooden bridge then down another two steep steps . Has my husband could not access the picnic area we sat on the seats at the side of the tea rooms we were sat there eating sandwiches enjoying the view . Then we were approached by staff from the tea rooms who said we were not alloud to consume our own food while sitting on their chairs. We imediatley got up and left leaving the rest of the family enjoying there picnic . My point here is there was no sighns saying not to consume your own food . Als why is there no disabled access to the picnic area by the waterfall . I was most dissapointed at the attitude of the staff at the tea rooms towards the disabled and shall not be visiting again
