Very romantic, the drive was amazing as you see the castle looming up from nowhere. This is a place to get lost in dreams. Such fun, and dining with a Castle view is easy and reasonable.

A castle steeped in history, and a fascinating couple of hours walking round. You will enjoy yourself here, but a castle is a castle so there is not much more I can say.

Visited on a drizzly day and was the only person there. The views from the tower and wall were limited but still a fine place to explore.

We hadn't planned on stopping at this castle on our way through Harlech, but we're so glad we did! It is relatively small, but we found it more enjoyable to visit than Conwy Castle. Its situation on top of the hill makes for absolutely stunning views of the coastline and surrounding farmland - if you climb up to the towers and walk the walls, of course. A room on the ground floor is full of interpretive signage, which was really helpful for someone not very familiar with Welsh history. We spent 1-2 hours at the castle, and paid only a few pounds per person. There is a new information center beside the castle, but it wasn't open as of the time of our visit.

The surrounding area and town are very pretty. Well worth a detour!

A beautiful solid castle with wonderful views over the beach. There are some very informative display boards and well worth the family ticket price of just over £11. They are building a brand new castle information centre opposite the castle but there is no opening date yet.if you are planning on visiting other castles along the coast you can get a 3 day pass which reduces the cost
