we spent a fabulous few days at this cottage. the location is superb with sea views from the lounge , dining room and bedrooms. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and is very well equipped. The beach is a short walk from the cottage and Barmouth is just a 15 minute walk along the sea front. We will definitely revisit.

I stayed at Minafon in march for a week with my partner for a relaxing break. The house is situated close enough to Barmouth and all it's amenities that it's no bother at all to walk there (in fact it's a really nice walk along the promenade by the sea) but it's far enough away that it is absolutely serene with a wonderful sense of privacy. The terrace is sheltered and has really nice views out to sea (which you can see from almost all of the windows in the house)
The house has a cosy vintage feel aided by the character and age of the building itself. It almost feels like a cherished home rather than the bare bones feel of many holiday lets. The building was on the cool side when we arrived due to it being a stone building in March but we found that the heating in the house was ample and the stone soon held onto the heat and it stayed that way for the whole visit.
All towels and bedding were supplied and was all presented nicely, beds were comfortable too. I found that I didn't really want for anything facility wise.
I will definitely come back again!
