“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Bryn Tyrch. This is our fourth time visiting and this time we took friends. We were in a group of 12 celebrating a few 50/60th birthdays. Our ages ranged from 23-60. The pub and its staff were fantastic. You relax as soon as you enter the premises and everyone makes you feel so welcome. It was busy as usual at this time of year yet the staff were kind and attentive. Best of all was the food EXCELLENT. I never get tiered of visiting this lovely pub and it is one of my most favorite places in the UK. See you next year. Congratulations Rachel and your staff

This is my wife and I's favourite place for a weekend away in the uk. Lovely place that we have stayed at multiple times over the last decade. Over that time it has just got better and better. It now has the feel of a boutique hotel for outdoorsie people! Book early as it is quite rightly extremely popular!

We found this place by chance. Our original hotel (travelodge bangor) turned out to be a dump and we needed somewhere fast. A quick call to Bryn Tyrch Inn and our weekend break was rescued. The manager was a really nice lady who did everything she could to accommodate us (a family of four in a double room) and even made us some sandwiches and chips as the kitchen had closed. Had a good nights sleep and woke up to enjoy their buffet breakfast.

I've eaten here a number of times now, and the food has always been superb. The beer isn't bad either.

It tends to be very busy at weekends, so booking is advisable, but I've turned up without one a few times; the staff are helpful and you can normally get a table if you don't mind waiting a while.

I've never stayed here, so can't comment on the accommodation,

Please tell the kitchen that was the best meal I've had in a pub in the last twenty years. Honestly, I could have cancelled the rest of my vacation and camped across the street from this place and ate myself into obesity. Great, great food.

Room Tip: Book your table early.

We stayed only one night at Bryn Tyrch Inn, but remember it as one of our best stays during our two week trip to Britain. My wife and I were doing some walks in the area and found Bryn Tyrch to be the perfect conclusion to a long day of activity. Our room, the Llugwy, was exactly as it appeared on their website: modern, but cozy, with a great shower and a nice view of the surrounding hills and stream. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and enjoyed some great ales at sunset on their wonderful lawn outside the inn. How convenient to then be able to retreat to a wonderful dinner at their charming restaurant, where the service and food were outstanding. We much preferred the feel of staying in the countryside than the relative bustle of Betws y Coed just a 5 minute drive away. Without a doubt, we would stay at Bryn Tyrch again if we return to the area.

Room Tip: Llugwy has nice open views of the surrounding hills and stream.

Once again this super place did not disappoint. We (all 12) instantly felt welcome and relaxed. Food was excellent and our rooms as usual top notch for a pub. Already looking forward to our next stay.Well done Rachel and the team.
