“Very enjoyable!”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

Just got back from the Semaphore, where we had the chinese buffet. Very nice it was too and good value! Food was a plenty, topped up regularly. Even though it was fairly busy never had to queue for food. Lovely setting too. Will be returning.

“Fabulous Views and Tasty Food!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

The Semaphore is set on the hillside overlooking the Irish sea and part of Liverpool Bay - stunning view - but you now have a huge wind farm to look at. It doesn't really spoil the view too much though. Tucked below The Marian - a local nature reserve - the Semaphore is now run as Choi's Restaurant and the Chinese owners have worked very hard to keep up and running. The Friday night Chinese buffet is very, very popular. I think the restaurant is also open for snacks at lunchtime - it used to be but perhaps check before heading off. The bar and restaurant are a little 'barn like' but it has a good atmosphere and excellent service.

“Buffet!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Positives: The buffet is amazing for the price! Desserts are tasty, drinks are cheap.
Negatives: The buffet is the same every week.

“Great food”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Took advantage of the weekend Chinese Buffet with my wife and adult son. Impressed with the quality and choice of food available which was hot and well presented. Price is a bit higher than the usual city based chinese buffets but well worth it.
