“Good cop, bad cop”
Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

Visited on a Monday night, service was excellent, food was delicious, possibly a little pricey, but compared to other restaurants in the area, very good.

In fact enjoyed it so much I returned the following night, only to find myself completely ignored in the restaurant, so I walked out.

Make of that what you will, would recommend on a Monday night?

“Fathers day treat”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

I eat regularly here and decided to book an early evening table for fathers day. We were shown to our table promptly and orders were taken at the table which was nice, as orders are normally given near the bar area. I had roast beef dinner. The meat was tender and the vegetables well cooked and seasoned. My husband ordered chicken dinner but was disappointed that he wasn't served chicken breast. He does not particularly like chicken served on the bone. Kids meals were good but slightly expensive for the portions offered.

“Spot on !”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Visited on Fathers day to find a very busy restaurant. The amount of well mannered staff made easy work of sitting us down and serving our needs. The food was brilliant, high quality and served in a timely manner. Staff very polite and knew the wine menu very well as well as making recommendations. Plenty of parking and interior design is clean and modern. Overall a very pleasant visit.

“Delicious food/lovely atmosphere and friendly staff”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

we decided to visit based on recommendations by friends and we were not disappointed. There is plenty of parking, the inside is spacious and well designed. We were glad we reserved a table as its was busy. Good variety of food. Ours was delicious - never had tandoori halloumi cheese before but beautifully presented and very tasty. Children food portions are generous - would be good to see the option of some of the items on the adult menu in child size portions. Desserts were delicious and large. We shared and there was plenty. Will definitely go back again and would recommend.

“On the hill overlooking the bay with nice gardens”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

It ok. Its a very large pub a long way up a hill overlooking the bay the view in summer is obstructed by the trees but I would imagine in winter you would have a good view, it has a lovely garden with lots of tables and chairs. The service was good and the food was average to good and quite pricey hence the average overall rating.
