Visited this zoo if you can call it a zoo today more like a farm with a few zoo animals. The zoo is slightly confusing to navigate round, and could do with bigger signposts to direct you to each part.
Don't expect much if you visit here hardly any animals, variety good but not loads of each animal etc... didn't think the animals were keep as good as they could either water dirty around sealions, and crocodile tank. (I have visited many zoos here and abroad and this was the worse kept areas).
In the middle is a swing park and climbing frames which again is small but adequate. Can't commentIn the food as we bought our own.
If weather is cold then expect to spend about a morning here ..you can't stretch a day out here unless it's weather permitting as there are some lovely walks through the mountains to pass the time if it is. (We were a family of two adults, two teenagers and two under 6)

Well worth a visit although it was bitter cold when we were there and the zoo is high up in the mountains. There are many animals, which are well looked after, including displays relating to the chimps, birds of prey and the sea lions. These are all very informative and provide valuable information about the animals that the zoo is now caring for. It cost about £7.50 for each adult, which I thought was great value as we spent at least 3 hours there.

Return visit, we visited last year in the pouring rain, this time, although cold the sun was shining. We found the new lemur experience to be fabulous and very enjoyable for our young daughter, although we did find that some of the routes were not very pushchair friendly at all. Food in the cafe was pricey, but edible. Having two pushchairs in our group we were glared at a little with the space we took up, but hey ho!

visted in october 2012 so was a tad cold but well worth it. lovely place to wonder around, a lot bigger than I expected ans spent most of the day there. good selection of animals.staff were very friendly and chatty. looked like a lot of work was going on to make it bigger and better for summer.

We joined last year, as its more expensive to go a few times than it is to join, its freezing on cold days as its right on top of a mountain but its lovely in summer, great views and lovely animals
