Spent a few lovely days here with our dogs. The owner and her family were very helpful. Amazing views from the cottage down to the sea. We enjoyed the seagulls feeding their chicks on the owners roof which was opposite the cottage. Lots of lovely places to visit and all very close by. Amazing weather which was a huge bonus.
Strawberry Mill is a lovely and welcoming cottage with a close proximity to many great locations in North W\ales. Our host, Seunghee, was very warm and receptive. The cottage itself is extremely well looked after and has all the facilities you would require for holiday accommodation. It is also very generously priced. We would strongly recommend this cottage to family and friends, and would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

A charming cottage situated in a quiet country lane with a sea view and about 20 minutes walk through the woods to the promenade and 15 minutes walk to the Welsh Mountain Zoo. A great location for exploring North Wales. Seunghee ( the owner) is very welcoming, even to providing us with a chocolate cake and flowers upon our arrival. This was our third visit but not our last!
A lovely little cottage, home from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it had everything we needed with a friendly service. The children especially enjoyed the chocolate cake made by the owner for our arrival. The owner gave us permission to use mattress from sofa bed downstairs and used it up stairs so the four of us could be together having two little ones. Room upstairs was plenty big enough for the four of us.
We stayed for 6 nights at Strawberry Mill aka Seaview Cottage. The cottage has a very traditional country cottage feel but with all amenities. Lovely claw foot tub and separate shower with lots of hot water. Very comfortable bed - even for someone who generally sleeps very poorly while traveling. Watch your head. The bed is under an angled roof so it's easy to bump your head if you forget. The kitchen is very well equipped. I cooked most days on a very good gas range. Small dishwasher is available. Good sized refrigerator and oven. The downstairs is quite open and has a fold out bed. Bathroom is through the upstairs bedroom. This is ideal for a couple although it is possible to sleep up to three more. The views are quite spectacular. There is a 25 minute walk to an amazing view overlooking Colwyn Bay, llandudno, and even Snowdonia on a clear day. Fantastic sunset over the sea. Colwyn Bay is a bustling town. Lots of bus transportation if you don't have a car. Driving is on very narrow roads at times up into the hills. Beautiful but a bit frightening for a Canadian! Loved the buses. There is bus 23 which runs on the hour. It leaves about 5 minute walk from the cottage towards Pen Y Bryn pub. It's called Taylor's. The bus will take you down to the town and the sea. Catch it the other way from Kwiks and save yourself the uphill 30 minute walk. We did do the walk twice. It is hard but not impossible. Great grocery store and other shopping at Bayview. Taxi will take you for just under 5£.
We really had a lovely vacation.
