“Superb value”

This is not the best hotel you will ever stay in nor does it have the best restaurant you will ever eat in, but for £ 49 for a 2 course dinner, bed and breakfast and full use of the facilities. I cannot fault it. Rooms are adequate, on a par with a travelodge- type hotel, modern ( apart from the tv) , clean and serviceable. The spa/ pool area is lovely . The service was exemplary in every area of the hotel. The food was adequate with the exception of breakfast which was excellent. Lovely setting, very convenient, great for a girls trip, hard to know where you would find better value for money.

Spent New Year's Eve here with friends. Fantastic meal at the function suite followed by a great party atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and plenty of room to get ready. Comfy nights sleep to recover followed by a tasty breakfast to start again.

Spent a day in the spa and have no complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good. Would definately spend a day in the spa again. The downside was the accomodation. Upon entering the room it was plain to see it wasn't cleaned very well. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom so the floor was soaked and was a slip hazard. The shower head was thick with dust and also leaking. Behind the taps was thick with mold and sludge. I noticed that the corners of the bathroom floor had dust which looked like it had built up over time and stains in the toilet. The main room looked tired and not very well cleaned. The lighting was poor and there was not enough light by the dressing table/desk. The kettle lid was broken and looked dirty. The bed was the most uncomfortable I had ever slept in. The springs were sticking out and should be replaced. I would not stay there again!

I can't fault this hotel. The room rate was £75 including breakfast and use of all the spa facilities.
my room was in the annexe building above the swimming pool on the top floor, i had a beautiful arched window looking out onto the tower. The room was clean and the shower was fine, very powerful and nice soft towels.

The food in the restaurant was really nice, large portions and staff very friendly. I would definately return :0)

Room Tip: ask to be placed in the annexe ....the pool annexe and ask for the 3rd floor to look out over the to...

Went to The Towers in September purely for a Spa Day with a friend so did not stay the night.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful from start to end.
Loved the whole pool area, very relaxing, the day went so quickly which is a shame but I plan on going back in January for my birthday and staying the night to get the whole experience of the place.
We had buffet food for lunch which was lovely and you can help yourself to tea/coffee/biscuits throughout the whole day.
I had a neck, back and shoulders massage, highly recommend it.
The only issue i felt was the surroundings of the hotel, behind the 'Chill out Lounge' was just over looking an over grown field, they could do with more out door furniture and deco to make it nicer especially for weddings. Maybe a nice area for people to have their wedding photographs taken.
I am engaged and will definitely be considering The Towers as a venue if it is tidied up a bit.

We stayed for a relative's wedding and despite booking 9 months in advance were given a downstairs room which was "airless" with very tired decor overlooking a unkempt grass area at side or back at full price .
The shower whilst powerful sprayed everywhere in the bathroom except into the bath causing serious slip issue getting out as floor was saturated despite shower curtain.
One senior receptionist was less than friendly on arrival but we put that down to a sudden influx of people checking in after the wedding. However equally unfriendly when settling out account and quite rude when we advised her of the bathroom issue.

Did not use spa facilities but grounds at front appeared nice and public areas were good.
Breakfast was to a standard expected for such a hotel and staff quite friendly.

Our experience of lower ground floor room and bath needed serious refurbishment.

Would not chose to go there again.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms on lower ground floor
