A quiet, picturesque location with a great, friendly onsite pub/restaurant with a variety of different foods. As for the cottage, the interior is finished to a very high standard and is very comfortable. It has a great outdoor wrap-around decking with great seating areas to have an enjoyable drink with family. Not over-looked due to the woodland scenery and is only a two minute walk from the beach. Would definitely recommend to everybody and will certainly be returning.
Just about to finish an amazing weekend in this fabulous cottage. It must be the best kept secret in Wales. First class accommodation with five star quality amenities, three good bedrooms and two very good bathrooms. Situated on a lovely spotless site with fabulous views and a good bar with equally good food. We will definitely book this place again for next year.
Cwm cottage is a lovely holiday home close to the beach but with a bit of a climb on way back .It has three double bedrooms and large kitchen and a nice size living room .It had two lovely patios one on each side of house to make use of the sun all day (when it shines) but they did have a few steps okay for older children but we had to watch out for our 19th month old granddaughter .The site itself was well kept with a bar and small restaurant and a playground and barbecue area .We enjoyed our week here.
We stayed in Cwm Cottage for a weekend break with my daughters , son in law and grandson. We had a family wedding and needed somewhere to stay before and afterwards.
We were absolutely thrilled with the cottage and its facilities. There was an ensuite room for us downstairs and double room and twin room upstairs for the others, with a large bathroom. So plenty of place for us to get ready for the wedding in the morning!
We enjoyed a family meal around the big dining table in the evening and could relax and feel at home in the cosy living area.
Towels were provided and the beds weeks really comfortable.
The kitchen was fully equipped and the wine chiller was a bonus!
The location of the cottage was just perfect. The decking which surrounds the cottage was beautifully built. The small area in front of the cottage was a great place to sit and chill out, with the sound of the brook trickling by. The area behind the cottage had a lovely big dining table and chairs which would have been great if the weather was fine ( sadly, we had wind and rain!)
The holiday village in which the cottage stood was quite quiet. There was a lovely court yard and BBQ area outside and a bar which served meals and drinks. There was a play area for children and crazy golf available.
The holiday village is on the coastal path, so lots of picturesque walks, and also horse riding available.
Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time to enjoy all facilities, but hope to return next year.
I will be recommending this gorgeous place to friends and family.
5 of us stayed for 3 nights in Cwm Cottage a couple of weeks ago as part of our trip over from Adelaide, Australia.
We had a wonderful time, it was a really relaxing break and we would definitely recommend. The cottage is situated right in between New Quay and Aberaeron which means the location is perfect. The views are beautiful and there are some beautiful walks around the complex.
The cottage is very spacious and stylish with some great amenities. The holiday was absolutely faultless and the only minor improvement we could suggest would be that some basic items like tea, coffee and milk upon arrival would have been very welcome after a long drive.
My parents had take away food from the bar and said the service and food was top class and each time we popped into the reception for help or with any questions they were always so happy to help.
We had a brilliant time and we will definitely be back again, Thank you.
