We visited Llanerchaeron this week when staying in the area. It is well worth visiting, and we were impressed by the low key approach. The house itself is of interest, and the grounds and gardens are lovely.

What an interesting place to visit with wonderful wildlife and scenery! Ample parking in the car park and numerous different activities taking place throughout the season including the apple week which I attended last year when I was on holiday. The downside to it though is the cafe! I found the proprietor Nick to be very rude and arrogant and due to dietary needs i had laughed at me from behind the drinks chiller and muttered several expletives at me! He was then talking about me to other members of staff whilst pointing and yet again laughing! When the food came the portion sizes were very small and very expensive. Doubt ill be visiting this Cafe again, very rude and ignorant to say the least!

A step back in time . Furnished as it was left with a special collection added . A good introduction to " life below stairs " in the domestic quarters below .
Walled garden interesting . Sadly, the agricultural buildings house few animals and children might find this place a bit boring.

We visited whilst staying in the area. By NT standards this is a manor house of medium size, but very interesting. The working areas below stairs & outside were even more interesting, from the wash house to the brewery. There was also walled gardens, a variety of stock houses & carriage stores, & a working organic farm . But for y husband the most interesting of all was the ecletic Geler Jones collection with its treasure trove of old machines, implements and artefacts.
