As a local I have used all the cafes and restaurants in Aberaeron. They are all of a high standard. Cegin Alban is the only one I use regularly. Myself an mother in law try to visit for a meal every week. The reason is that this little cafe is just so welcoming. Anne and Rita the proprietesses make sure that you are most welcome and will actually sit and talk with you when they have time. The food is exellent, and always piping hot. I have to really resist the deserts. The standard of cleanliness and hygene is of the highest standard. The cafe is just not faultable.

Just stopped off here for a drink, but lots of our large family party ended up with cakes! Very friendly and relaxed place. Although I only had a pot of tea, the rest of the group had a great time choosing and eating the beautiful cakes. Excellent service, and nice clean loos :-)

Stopped em route to elsewhere. Very nice little cafe, busy due to bank holiday. Had a all day breakfast, which hit the spot. Had to use willpower to avoid all the sweets, homemade and looked delicious. Everyone else having them looked happy! Will use again if passing by.

This little Cafe was so welcoming and we had the most delicious home cooked roast of the day with three different vegetables which was piping hot. The cafe is owned by Rita and Anne and it was Anne who greeted us and Rita who took the time to sit down and talk to us, They also had a lot of regular people and were speaking in both welsh and english, the customer service was second to none and we would have no hestation reccomending this outstanding Cafe.
