Excellent in every respect. Made me and my parents very welcome. Tea and cake on arrival. Comfortable accommodation. Let me watch the rugby on their television. Great breakfast. Recommend the porridge.

From start to finish this was an excellent stay, we were greeted with a warm welcome and drinks after being shown to our room. We stayed in the Cypress View room which was perfect for what we needed, it was spacious, clean and modern. And the bed was extremely comfortable! The bathroom was extremely clean, again spacious with a separate shower and bath. Breakfast was ordered the night before, with preferred time selected. This was generous with a full welsh breakfast, cereal, yoghurts, drinks all included and was as exceptional as the rest of the stay. Overall extremely happy with our stay here and have already recommended to friends and family to stay here when visiting the area in the future.

Thankyou & Look forward to seeing you both again soon!

We visited with our two year old son for a one night stay and couldn't have asked for better value for money. We felt instantly welcome and didn't want for anything during our stay. The room was modern, comfortable and had more to offer than a top end hotel, including an awesome shower!! Breakfast was delicious and was refreshing to be home-made rather than served from giant silver trays. All in all a brilliant nights stay even if for just one night.

This is a B&B run by somebody who has traveled a lot and has made sure that all the frustrations experienced in other places are nowhere to be found here. Thoughtful extras like a heap of little milks rather than the standard one per cup, which is never enough. Lovely towels in the bathroom and extra blankets on the ends of the beds.

Lynn couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and even assisted in putting together a surprise anniversary present for my sister and brother-in-law. Way above and beyond the call of duty.

The welcome was most warm - delicious cup of tea and slice of cake. The rooms were clean, fresh and super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and if returning to the area would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms at the front have lovely views. Cedar View has a really nice bathroom.

My Girlfriend and I were visiting friends in New Quay and came across Merwerydd online.

We stayed for two nights and it couldn't have been better!

Our room was beautiful, it was immaculately clean, light & airy with a tasteful modern design. The bed was incredible, the duvet and the pillows were so comfortable. The room was heated nicely in the cold of February and we particularly liked the addition of an iPod dock. Plenty of storage and more importantly lots of hangers!

The Bathroom was beautiful and we were surprised to get a proper shower cubicle as well as a bath.

Breakfast both mornings was excellent. Fresh fruit salad and a cooked breakfast comprising locally sourced produce.

Lynn & Bill were very kind and made us feel like part of the family.

If you're looking for a home from home when visiting mid-Wales, I can highly recommend that you stay at Merwerydd. Travelling with two restless young ones under 3, we arrived a bit later than expected, but were greeted with a warm cup of tea, a spotless room with excellent views, and a warm welcome from Lynn and Bill. They provided a hearty meal for us on both nights, as well as a tasty breakfast, which meant that we didn't have to cart the little ones out once we had arrived. The beds were really comofortable, too. Nothing was too much trouble for Lynn - she's the perfect host, and we'll look forward to stopping with them again soon.
