I cannot rate 3 Pen Cei highly enough. I have stayed here twice now with my boyfriend, and will definitely be returning! Lesley and John are perfect hosts, and made us feel wonderfully welcome. Breakfast is divine, (whatever Jules might try to tell you otherwise!) the rooms are stunning, and it is a perfect location for exploring the coast, countryside and charming town of Aberaeron. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful place.

3 Pen Cei is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for luxury, relaxation and good old fashioned hospitality. Everybody we have met in Aberaeron has made us feel very welcome there, and we will continue to visit for many years to come.

Thank you Lesley and John for making Aberaeron such a special place for us.

I stayed here with my partner last weekend for two nights and absolutely adored this guest house. From start to finish, Lesley was attentive, helpful, chatty and incredibly generous with her time and advice and even gave us a lift a restaurant we had booked a bit further out as we were the only people staying there at the time. We stayed in Ystwyth at the top of the house. It was small-ish and very cosy with a really good atmosphere to it. The bathroom was a good size and everything felt really fresh with big fluffy towels and robes and white company products which smelt fab. Ridiculously comfy bed, and good size tv screen! The breakfast was in a lovely welcoming room with slate placemats and the fruit salad was made up of all the best bits, great selection of cereals, spreads etc and a huge welsh breakfast with the best slab of bacon I'd ever tasted. This is my first ever review on trip advisor as I just had to rave about this place. With the winter deal it was fantastic value too.

Roger and Llinos Harris, Glynneath ,West Glamorgan.

From the moment we entered this home, we have to call it that because that is how we were made to feel as soon as we were welcomed in to this historical building.

Because Roger is unable to carry heavy things Lesley helped Llinos with the luggage to their room 'Aeron' which was of exceptional quality.
Coffee was promptly and welcomingly supplied. The room was so quiet you couldn't hear anything outside once the door was closed.
To add to the character the windows are of the original sash type, though it takes nothing from the luxury within, especialy the bath / shower room.

We didn't meet John, but Lesley is a very pleasant person and nothing was to much trouble for her, we had some lovely chats with her and she is Welsh speaking as well, which was a bonus for us. She makes a stunning cooked Welsh breakfast with local produce where applicable and the assortment of fresh fruit salad was excellent.

It was made perfect for Roger because of the paintings of sail ships on the walls, one, which was in the breakfast room had significant personal history to Lesley, with a very interesting twist to it.

We may have regrets about this, because it could prevent us being able to go there again, due to others wanting to visit. But, we would thoroughly recommend 3 Pen Cei to anyone.

My husband and I stayed in this gorgeous B&B in September. We had an amazing welcome from Leslie and the B&B totally lived up to our expectations following other reviews from tripadviser. The rooms have been done out beautifully and the bathroom was gorgeous with lovely White Co smellies and luscious bath robes and towels. The location of the B&B is brilliant. We had a room at the front and it was lovely to wake up in the morning and look out on to the bobbing boats in the harbour. We had a very yummy cooked breakfast with local produce and the fruit salad finished it off nicely in a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!

Aberaeron is possibly the most picture perfect town I've come across in the UK. Although the town is small, it makes for a perfect stopover when driving through the Pembrokeshire coast with its colourful Georgian houses and pretty harbour. The people are friendly and the man at the Information centre was incredibly helpful. We stayed in 3 Pen Cei which I'd definitely recommend for its stylish interior, wonderful host and fantastic breakfast.

Absolutely lovely. We were able to park right outside the hotel. The room (Aeron) was so beautiful (even better than website) with a lovely view across the harbour. The bathroom is fantastic with an enormous bath and large shower. Room beautifully decorated. Bed absolutely massive. Breakfast lovely with nice choice of cereal, fruit yoghurt. Service great. Definately want to return.
